Great classic looking pipes!
Can't go wrong with Vance & Hines. It's very hard to find classic drag pipe looking pipes anymore. My '08 Night Train was born with the Big Radius pipes. They sounded good, but just not the look I wanted. These Straightshots look and sound great on this bike. Install was easy. Took about 2 hours, taking my time. Follow the steps in the instructions. I say that cause I didn't. :-) I thought I could slip the outer chrome covers on after attaching the pipe to the head. Nope. Instructions say to put them on before. Do it, and the job will go smooth, and you'll drink less beer. They don't come with gaskets. Order them at the same time. I put in the Genuine James tapered set and new retaining rings. No leaks, easy install, bike looks awesome!!!

rust bucket
bought a v&h pipe. rusted in inside diameter caused it to be unusable in 2 months. they will give you another rusty pipe at your shipping expense...do not buy Vance and Hines. horrible customer service

Quick and easy
Looks good on my 06 Deluxe just had to remove the bracket for the saddle bag . They have a nice sound.

This are an amazing set of exhaust pipes. Installation was a breeze, took about 30 min from start to finish. The sound is outstanding.

Outstanding sound
Beautiful chrome plating on the heat shields, oh , did I mention the sound? It really is hard to beat Vance & Hines exhaust. This is not my first rodeo, I've been using Vance & Hines pipes for years and have never been disappointed.

Straight Shots
Great look and the sound is good and loud. I have a stock motor in my 96 FLSTN so I need backpressure. Baffles that come in the straight shots will not create the back pressure a stock motor needs. Purchased the quiet baffles, now motor is happy with the backpressure and the sound is real good too.

A1 quality Vance And Hines exhaust (17817)
Incredible, fits my bike like a glove,Took my OEM pipes off, which essentially made my bike sound neutered, instructions were way simple, just all in all, fast shipping, easy istallation, and of course the triple A quality of Vance and Hines exhaust.Just an added note, prior to 2007 bikes, make sure to pay attention that you need bung plugs for the oxygen sensor holes. Or like me, you will have the pipes all installed looking awesome but you can't start it until the plugs arrive
