Saco Keyboard Silicon Protector for ASUS FX505 FX705, ROG Strix GL504 GL704GM GL704GV Gaming Laptop - Transparent

This fits perfectly to my FX505DY and I'm using it since last 3yrs. Backlight is properly visible and my keyboard looks like new till date. No wear and tear of the silicone till date.

I bought this for my Asus Tuf 705DT laptop which is 17.3 inches in size. So if you're wondering about the size, don't worry, it fits perfectly. I have sweaty fingers, I pour out litres of sweat through the tips, hence I got this to protect the keys from going bad or dirty.The packaging is superb. There's a thick Amazon cardboard box that holds it straight in place, and inside that is the product packaging. A good quality plastic bag holds the Saco hard leaflet and warranty card (or another smaller leaflet with phone numbers for replacement). The product doesn't bend in any direction due to the hard package.The cover's material is perfctly thin and rubbery, but definitely not cheap, and it fits snugly on the keys. The rubbery finish also makes sure that it doesn't slip or move around when you type. You can even try moving it around, it won't. Despite being milky white, the backlight is clearly visible through it, although you can't see it in the picture since I personally keep it off. Don't worry about not being able to type in the dark. Individual key pouches have cuts on either sides for ventilation. You don't want to tug on it though. I was able to close the laptop with the cover on.The only thing that I'd love to see improved is a notch or slanting cut on the bottom right of the cover just next to the arrow keys, because Asus Tuf keyboards have a slanting bump there like you can see on the left side. But it is in no way a problem, the material clings well to the laptop body so the gap is sealed.All in all a great little product and I'd recommend it. The price could be lesser but looking at the quality and packaging, I think its apt.

Covers the buttons properly and doesn’t allow any dust or liquid to enter inside the keypad area easily, keypad of my laptop sill looks new because if this productEdit: Recently the product got tore up from a side while I was trying to shake it in mid air to remove the dust. After 1year 3m of use it’s over RIP.

Perfect fit and washable cover but price a little bit high.Otherwise it is very good.

I just use this product to protect my asus tuf505 serice laptop keyboard. Item is perfect fit for my laptop keyboard.I don't use my laptop keyboard much as I have external keyboard & mouse.So the product stop all dust which may go inside the keyboard.Yes, It dims a bit the backlight but it's okey to use as dust & wet protector

I was confused about transparent one or the black one to choose from. Luckily I choose the transparent one for my asus fx505. It almost fits perfect without affecting the overall looks of the keyboard. Led lights are visible through this cover and it doesn't cause a lot of reduction in light. Your keyboard is covered from all sides and it doesn't shake from its fixed position once you position it. Very good buy. One star less for the higher price.
