I homeschool young children and this is the only glue stick we use. Typical glue sticks just gave us frustration as they often just don't adhere things at all. This glue stick can be used in many kinds of crafting as well as general school gluing. I learned about it a while ago at a craft store class for adults. We used this glue to adhere paper and a variety of embellishments to blank journals. It holds solidly and will prevent a host of frustrations. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there is not copious amounts of product in a tube. It may go fairly quickly, but it will do a great job. I'm ok with that. If you are looking for a glue for Bible journaling will definitely fit the bill.

I had tried a few other glue sticks and so far this is the one I prefer the most. I like to scrapbook and do other types of crafts and even on my spare time like to cut out recipes from magazines and glue them to a notebook so that I can throw them away so I wont have many magazines laying around. With other glue sticks it either doesnt stick, you can sord of see where the glue stick was applied or when u least expect it you see a piece of paper, picture etc fall out like if you never glued it in the first place. I first bought it in Orientaltrading.com when I needed to spend like two-three more dollars to recieve free shipping, and it was worth it. So far it has hold everything in place and without the messy smudges of some glue sticks and it bonds very quickly and clear.

I love to use this glue stick. It is the only one I use in my card making. I have tried others but not as good. It is hard to find locally so ordered from here. The price is way out of line. I have found them on another site at half the price of these.No they were not on sale either and I got free shipping. I was in a hurry for the glue sticks but would not order from here again. I order 10 as they are the only glue sticks I use in my card making. I wasted $30.00 I could sure have used for other things. I order from Amazon all the time. I hope this helps .

First, this is a very good glue. It had good stick. I gave it two stars because it was too soft and mushy which means a lot of it was wasted. I was shocked that for the price the glue stick was the size of a chapstick.

I have used this over many years. It really works well on heavier items. I always keep a tube in the house.
