Finally.....no more ground leads!
Unfortunately the house we rent only has a fence around the sides and at the house in the back yard. At the alley between the garage and the shed it is open. When we're out with them, they will stay in the yard. When we can't be out with them they had to be on the leads. I was tired of having leads that were anchored to the ground. The dogs were limited to where they could roam and they were always getting tangled in lawn/patio furniture, garden fixtures, trees, etc. Works like a charm. Now they can roam pretty much the entire length of the back yard. No hassles, no tangles! Easy to install. Plenty of line to run about 46'-48' from the house to the garage, and plenty high overhead as to not decapitate anyone walking through in the dark and still giving the dogs enough lead to move laterally.

Easy to install. Could be longer and more durable...
The blue section is the part that extends from the "run" down to your dog. I wish the blue line was longer, and that the metal clip on the end of the blue line was less susceptible to rust. Been using it a couple months and the clip will need replacing soon. Other than that, it's very strong and durable (for my 60-lb. "pit bull") and easy to install.

Works great! Happy dog.
This trolley is great! I chose it for the metal pulley (instead of plastic on other brands which reportedly break). Turns out I didn't need the pulley at all, as the lead-leash moves smoothly just clipped to the overhead run-line. Time will tell, maybe the clip will wear on the overhead line faster than the pulley might. I'll watch for wear & use the pulley if needed. I'm using this minimally, only a few hours each week for my small 8-pound dog. She loves it, can move freely to sit in sun or shade, still play fetch, no risk of running into road. Our property is not completely fenced, so this trolley line is next best thing to ensure safety for dog that is a flight-risk (likes to run away). Thanks for making this product available. Happy dog.

I like it, my dog likes it, it wasn't hard to install... I got what I wanted
My Houdini-esque Husky has chewed through the tether a couple of times - it's wire, but it's easily fixed. Nothing will would automatically. Dogs need training and supervision. The aerial run add a little extra that our escape artist has to over come.... along with the 6 ft chain link fence, and frequent checks..... He doesn't seem to mind it so much, and I feel safer when he is on it (we leave on a busy street). The wheels roll smoothly, and this system is cheaper than similar ones I looked at locally and online.

Great run, easy to install.
easy to install. Works great and has held up fantastic. We had a few accidents around our dog run where I thought it was going to snap (a tree fell on it once) and all that happened was the bolt securing it to the house ripped out of the wood. Now that is a tough cable. I would definitely recommend this to someone who needs a dog run for up to 50 ft.We use this for a miniature poodle if that helps. A larger dog may put more wear on it and it might not hold up as well, but I can't say for sure since ours has held up great even after a tree falling on it.

It works BUT one additional piece hardware would improve it
For what I paid I would I didnt really expect much and if it lasts a year I'll be happy. I purchased this to replace an old runner that lasted 4 years. It's easy enough to install but I had to use the tensioner from my old cable to tighten this cable. I'm really not sure how others got the cable really tight but the tensioner has 2 eye bolts with one being a reverse thread. When you turn the center piece the bolts pull together and the cable tightens. See picture. Why they don't include one of these is a bit puzzling. Also, one of the nuts on the U-bolts stripped when tightening - kinda cheap.

Doing its job...
We are using this line for our 3 labs. Their weights range from 90-125 pounds. Our dogs are off leash if we are outside with them. The dog run is used to let them out individually when they have their business to do. It's been installed for about one month and we haven't had any problems. The clasp that connects to their leash doesn't seem very durable, I'm thinking that may wear before other parts of the product.

And my dog no longer wanders out of the yard!
This is great for my toy chihuahua! He is so small that he can fit between the gaps in the gate of the fence. Our neighbors had been complaining about presents left in their lawn. I was a bit unsure if it would be tough for him to pull the line along, but it moves smoothly and even he can move without issue along the whole line. It is very sturdy and went up very easy between the house and shed, high enough that no-one will be able to reach is and the lead still as enough room for him to have plenty of space on either side of the line to room about the yard. With fifty feet in length there is plenty of running room back and forth as well for any dog. The item was sent next day as requested and was in original packaging with more hardware then was required!
