I needed a 12v television for use off-grid via solar panel charged 12v batteries. I also wanted one that didn't have a built in DVD player but did have the capability to play films from a USB source as I have ripped my DVDs to mp4s for portability purposes. It has tuned into the Freeview channels ok via an aerial, and I like the fact that it could also tune into FreeSat should I ned it to. The picture is good, the sound isn't bad. You can tweak both using the settings menu. There is a little smearing when things are moving quickly on the screen, but it's not too distracting. If you only use it to watch tennis or golf then you might struggle seeing the ball, but for general tv and film watching it's great. It plays mp4s from a usb stick with no problems. I'm sure there are probably better televisions out there, but this is very cheap, runs off 12 volts fabulously, and works well enough for my needs. Very pleased with it.UPDATE: I’ve had this for a while now. It’s still great. I also have ended up using it as a second monitor for my laptop, connecting via HDMI, when working from home; and I’ve discovered it also plays h265 encoded high definition video files from USB flawlessly too.

The media could not be loaded.  I tried to use firestick and the tv started making crackling noises and intermitently found the firestick before just going to no signal or going crazy pictureThis happened on both mains and 12v setup

Works great in my tourer caravanFree view easy to tune but I use it with my sat dish but need to edit channel list for bbc 1 -2 etc but only once the tv stores list very happy with tv

lo que menos me ha gustado el sonido podrían mejorarlo, lo tengo que conectar a un altavoz auxiliar amplificado para mejorarlo,por lo demás si cumple mis expectativas

impossible de le faire fonctionner dans mon campigne car avec mon decodeur sat message tv imcompatible ne peux aficher le contenu ci j avais sur je n aurait pas changer de TV pas de notice en francais et pas de solution

En HDMI un bando est présent qui gêne beaucoup aussi bien pour l!utilisation d'un ordinateur ou téléphone raccordé sur cet écran. La classification est faite sous forme de dossiers mais surtout il ne faut pas que le nom soit trop long sinon vous pourrez pas le lire. C'est pareil pour les fichiers. C'est un bon écran très limiter par le logiciel intérieur.
