The horses must be gettingt cold!
Lovely brushes with thick, luxurious horse hair. These brushes remind me of the ones I had while serving in the army. They are of a great size, fully 'haired' and feel as if they will outlast me. Haven't yet tried them on my shoes 'cos they're so nice - seems a shame to waste them...

If you’re only looking to polish off/buff shoes these are excellent but for applying polish they are far too soft

Too soft to be useful
Too soft I am afraid. It's just a pair of identical brushes. You really need one to be stiffer for applying the polish then the softer one for buffing. Even then it is too soft. I ended up buying a cheap set from Morrisons and pairing one of the brushes from that set with one from this set.
