The thickness and touch quality is really great. I do not like how slip on covers increase the size of the steering wheel grip so much, so I think this is a superior product. I was hopeful that the Sand color would match a little better with the stock Jeep TJ tan, but it's close enough and goes well with my PRP seats.This was the first time I installed a wrap like this. Couple of tips:- Use some leather conditioner on it before you install. It makes the leather a little more pliable.- Take your time. If you try to rush this you will make it 10x harder. Get a beer (or two) and settle in. It took me about 1.5 hours to install.- Manage your thread carefully, especially in the beginning. I would slowly pull each stitch through and let it drap out the door onto the garage floor so it wouldn't tangle. At the beginning the thread very much wants to tangle up and unknotting it will take a lot more time than just being super careful with each stitch. Once you get through about half the amount of thread is low enough and enough wax has come off that it gets a lot easier.- Pull each stitch nice and tight. Then every ten holes or so, take a minute and go back and re-tighten the last ten stitches. I used a really small screwdriver to do that. Take care not to accidentally cut the thread.I ended up with 6' of extra thread, so do not worry about not having enough.

Putting it on was no big deal. Looks good, feels good.

I have used Wheelskins before. So long as you take your time and follow the instructions explicitly, they work to perfection. They are a great product to provide protection to an existing wheel of a classic car or to give a luxury feel to your daily driver. Very comfortable. I was seriously impressed with the color match to the inside of my vintage 911. It installed easily. Remember.... tight is right!! You have to pull very hard. leather will not tear nor will the thread.TOP TIP: wear leather driving gloves when installing this product. It will save you pain and major blisters!! These are things you learn after installing a few of these.

This beautiful tan steering wheel cover didn't fit my grandson's steering wheel...It's too late to return!If anyone wants this, please let me know!

Great product. Just finished installing on my '07 Highlander. Fits well, looks good and feels right. DO pull the thread tight. I was worried that when I went around the first spoke I would lose track of the holes but no. Took over an hour but done right it almost looks factory installed. I left about an inch of thread after tying off and wove it in behind the looping thread and poked it down into the slot between the leather edges. Looking forward to driving in our mountains without my hands slipping on the vinyl wheel.

Size AXX, Color Sand fits perfectly on a 1998-2000 Volvo S/V/C70 (probably not on the 00R). Quality is great, fit is tight. Great improvement over the stock skinny steering wheel. Doesn't look tacky at all. I have 3990 interior and the color match is perfect. It will probably work really well with 3960 too.
