Snakeroot (Nightshade)

so I had no idea about this book. I had thought she stopped. so I as so glad when I pre-ordered it. I finished it in two days. (normal book reading speed for me.) it brings back the pasted. showing the true bloodlines of the Keepers. and how people are connected in this world. we see how shay's mother is dealing with shay's turn into wolf. and how she comes to understand why. Andrea leaves it open for another book! one fulled with, maybe a pasted trip to meet Erica .

I chose this rating because I have read all of the other books in this series and I liked the fact that one of the characters could maybe come back. I was disappointed at the ending of the book. The disappointment came from the story not ending and there being no mention of another book to follow. I hope there will be another book soon.

This book was great. If you are a fan of the night shade series this is a must read. I read the whole series of books in a little over a week. I could not put it down. I would say it is good for ages 12 up. I myself am 29 but I prefer the YA books because they have good story lines and are not full of sex. If your looking for a good read give this series a try

Andrea is an artist! Her writing techniques just pull you in and force you to experience the same emotions that her characters are feeling.... I found myself laughing and crying several times throughout the book; there were points where I wanted to scream in frustration or cheering for these characters. It was a nice escape from the problems I have in the real world. I could just pick up her book and find myself in a whole new world. Im a fan!

Snakeroot was amazing and i loved it. It's really different from the other Nightshade books in many good ways. I thought it was a nice touch that the point of view was third person omniscient. Hearing the answers to the questions before they were asked made me just want to tell the characters the truth! Everything in here surprised me...especially the cliffhanger at the end. Just to warn future readers of this book, prepare for a frustrating cliffhanger.

This book - although short in my opinion- was AMAZING! It did end leaving you hanging, and with questions, but all the same I hope that their will be some sort of follow up or something along those lines. After reading the Nightshade series and all of the sequels prequels (and everything else pertaining to the series), I would most definitely recommend Andrea Creamer and her book to anyone. I'm officially a fanatic. Keep being awesome Andrea!

I am a huge fan of the Nightshade series and this book is no exception. I only recommend that this book be read by those who have read the first 3 book's (Rise and Rift are extreme prequels that can be read without reading the first 3 books in the series), otherwise those reading Snakeroot won't understand the plot line. Can't wait until the next book is released.
