Mission:I needed to find a desk chair to replace one that finally wore out. I had been using cheap chairs bought at various stores for years and just replacing them. I’m tall and very heavy these days. So I knew if I wanted to find a chair that would last, I would need to find one able to support my size and weight.Price:I’m not exactly rich, so I need to find something that would fit my budget. When I had looked at Big & Tall chairs in the past, the prices were way too high for me to afford. I found this chair for under $300, and considered it a good deal. I ordered it with little fuss or bother. However I was a little miffed that I could not get free shipping, as a Prime Member. But given the size and weight of the box, this is probably to be expected.Shipping:The chair arrived a few days sooner than expected, which worked out great! The box was not too huge but it was heavy and a little awkward to handle, but I managed.Packaging:All parts came wrapped in plastic and/or bubble wrap, to prevent damage during shipping. It was all very easy to remove. All the bolts and bolt driver came packaged in a labeled blister pack, which was very convenient!Assembly:The instructions may be a little confusing! I recommend watching the assembly video on the product page to get an idea of what to do if you get lost. Aside from a few minor issues, assembly was pretty straight forward. I took my time, and had it all done in less than an hour. One of the selling points for me about this chair, was the fact the arms could be left off if need be. I simply don’t have the room for them in the place where I sit. However, I’ve kept them in storage along with the instructions and everything else I need to attach them should the need arise.Style:I have very simple tastes. I did not want a typical “Gaming Chair”, nor did I want something too odd or fancy looking. I just needed something simple. Preferably, something that would match the black work surface of my desk, and blend well with e rest of my furniture. This chair fits those requirements perfectly!Comfort:All in all, this probably the most comfortable desk chair I’ve tried! The seat cushion, back rest, back cushion, and height adjustment are all excellent! Everything also feels very durable. I can see this chair lasting for several years.Conclusion:It’s a great chair for a great price. Very comfortable, easy to assemble, easy to adjust, and durable construction. I’m very pleased with this product, and might even get a second one for another desk in the house!

EDIT: Chair is now completely destroyed. Some metal piece inside the plate snapped and sent me crashing to the floor, smashing my face into my desk. Company still stands by that this is a quality product and won't address why after less than a year the chair has failed catastrophically. And now I have no idea what I'm going to do because no other chair is this wide, this was the first chair that didn't cause bruises from the arms. Still makes me angry that less than a year of use and they won't do anything. Like, maybe I got a faulty chair? In scared to drop another $250 bucks just for this is happen again.Got this chair because of the claims of it being sturdy and wide as I am a larger lady, but not even close to 500lbs, I'm around 400. Bought in October of 2020 since I am working from home and need a good chair to support me 8-10 hours per day.First few months it was good. Easy to put together. Super comfy, wide enough I could use the arms well. Tilted well too without me worrying I was going to fall over. The wheels however were junk. They split apart within 2 months. Seller sent me new wheels, those failed within another few months so I spent 35 bucks to buy really nice wheels. Since the hydraulics actually work and it was super comfortable I really wanted to keep this chair and wheels seemed like a minor thing is be flawed.Now about a week ago I noticed I seem to be tilting to the front a lot. Look under the chair and the metal plate that holds the chair to the post is cracked. Message the seller and apparently it's a 90 day warrenty so they won't do anything. I spent 250 dollars on a chair that I didn't even get to use for a year?!Just about ANY chair, even chairs designed for regular people can be used for more than 90 days without failing. This tells me their weight claims are BS and they just hide behind a super short warranty to cover their butts.

I decided on this chair after researching many chairs and their reviews. This one was a little more expensive but is well worth it. It is too big for me but I can be wrapped in a blanket with plenty of room left over. I'm 5'6" and the seat fits perfectly. There is extra support under my legs. I have the seat set to the lowest height and it is perfect for me. I set the arms of the chair as far inward as possible and it's perfect. The back of the chair is breathable and the lower back support is helpful. Best of all the bottom of the chair is made of strong metal and the wheels are bigger than most office chairs you've seen. I put it together myself using the tool (looks like a "T") they provided. Instructions are easy to understand.One reviewer here suggests using the box it comes in to put the chair together and that was helpful advice.The only problem is that the shipper tore a whole in the top of the box and ripped off some of the plastic off the edge of the chair.7-month UPDATE: I've had this chair for a while and would still recommend it to everyone. It is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. The seat has a lot of cushioning. The chair wears really well. If you have knee issues you can use a chair height that allows you to stand without putting too much pressure on your knees. The only problem I've had is that the wheels leave marks on my faux-wood floor, so eventually I'll have to get an office floor mat.

This chair is better than I thought it was going to be. It’s sturdy and it’s built well. I even bought a second chair.
