Soft core pencils, like Prismacolor worked well, and the paper excepted several layer, which then blended well. Don't now how hard core pencils will work. The mandalas are beautiful, and each page tears out very well.

Great stained glass coloring book. The designs aren't as detailed as say the "dreamcatchers" designs but this is perfect for when you don't want a lot of intricate details and you want to finish a coloring page more quickly to feel a sense of accomplishment. Because the designs are on heavy weight transparent paper I place a white sheet of paper under the page I'm coloring as I don't remove my pages from the book. This allows the image to be very clear. Otherwise all the lines from the other images show on the page you are coloring. I am enjoying coloring these pages.

I purchased this book for myself. Most of the stained glass coloring books have a black background, this one is white vellum. A nice, new perspective, more sun shines thru, great to display in the window.

I found it hard to color at least with gel pens. The designs are nice and very detailed.

LOVE this coloring book!! If you use markers they really pop in windows ~ colored pencils work nicely as well!
