For my purposes this ladder fits to the proverbial "T"
Once used to its flexible feeling I got very comfortable with it. The rungs are not thin like many of the folding ladders available. The "A" frame of the step ladder configuration provides a little shelf for tools and hardware. The extra rungs provide a safe leaning and, surprisingly, a place to support objects being installed just above the ten foot mark which require hanging from the roof. It compresses into a small package able to be stored in a small van, no ladder rack needed. It is light and feels even lighter when fully extended. I used a collapsible luggage dolly to haul it to a number of sites and I was also hauling tools and supply's, it all fit on the dolly with the ladder...absolutely sweet! One trip to and from the van!As for the review that claims it is not a ten foot ladder,,,that is not true at all. I was able to fully access the TOP of a ten foot (from the floor) object hung from a ceiling with ease. Yes I cannot straddle the "A" frame and I must move the ladder to access other areas of the object in work, but the other offerings this ladder provide more than compensate. It replaces a ten foot step ladder and 12 foot ladder and eliminates the need for a ladder rack.Following ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS IS VERY IMPORTANT! DO NOT AVOID THEM! But this is true for every ladder I have ever used.I need to access roof and wall heights on a regular basis, this ladder accomplishes that with ease. I would not recommend it for heavy duty roofing work but for light duty applications it is more than perfect, it fits like a glove.I will be using this ladder at every site I need to access a ceiling that is ten to 12 feet high. To date, it has outperformed my every expectation.

Great (somewhat) compact ladder
This ladder does exactly what it's intended to do and it does it really well. Because of it's reach and design, it is heavier than other ladders, but it makes up for it in how sturdy it is when your on it working over your head.

Clear instructions
I like the fact that it folds and doesn’t take space. The instruction booklet is worthless! I tried finding video instruction on YouTube and there are none for this model. There is a folding latch between the two sides. I was able to unfold it, but I’m not able to fold it back. If I don’t fold this latch, I won’t be able to fold the ladder all the way! So what’s the point !

Great for what it is designed to do. Yes, there are tradeoffs.
I really love this ladder. It's great for quick jobs when you can't transport a larger step or extension ladder. It really is easy to put up and take down.A word on the "wobble" factor people are talking about in the reviews. I'm ~175lbs. Near the top of the ladder, there's definitely movement that you'll have to get comfortable with. The ladder isn't going to collapse on you, but it's definitely going to flex and wobble more than a regular ladder. I wasn't totally comfortable at the step marked as the last one you're supposed to stand on, because I didn't feel like I had enough to brace myself against. When I need to go all the way up, I have someone steady the ladder from the bottom. The 14ft reach is totally doable if you're average height and you're comfortable on the "don't climber higher than here" step. I don't like heights, and I was able to change a light bulb 15ft off the ground using this.

Works fine for certain heights.
I really wanted to like this product. It works as it is supposed to, it is heavy and pretty cumbersome to open and close without pinching your fingers, but it is certainly manageable. My real issue is with the size. 14ft really isn't high enough for much (you'd be better off with a 18 or 20 ft). By the time you lug this thing out and expand it - and determine it is too short for you needs - real bummer. And worse, it cannot be used lower - it must be fully extended - true you can use it flat or A frame, but either way, you need to pull all the rungs up and lock them, make sure they are green - before felling comfortable climbing on it. So use inside a room is out - unless you have 15 foot ceilings. This product would be great and worth the effort to lug in an out of my truck if it could be used easily at lower heights. Wish I had purchased a smaller lighter one for my needs.

Great telescoping ladder!
Works as designed! Easy to carry around, and put up and down - works great to get up in the attic! Big, tall ladder and yet still compact.

Missleading title, ladder is NOT 14ft
As others mentioned this is not a 14ft ladder, it's actually less than 10ft fully extendedRead the fine print that indicates the difference between 'Ladder Height (Extended)' and 'Reachable Height'I would also say it's not as easy to close as they suggest.

It is a solid ladder that shrinks to a compact package for storage.
It is a nice, sturdy, well designed ladder.
