Very well designed and made. Nice quality aluminum and component parts, easy to set up and take down, not particularly heavy, and stores very conveniently. You do need to take down carefully to avoid pinched fingers. I compared this Telesteps to two other brands (in store) that cost a little less and the Telesteps appeared to be better designed with a better finish. It also weighed about one to one-and-a-half lbs. more but still in an acceptable range. A couple of on-line comparative reviews also stated that the Telesteps was better made and flexed less. The telesteps is a few dollars more. I use this primarily for attic access and I wasn't sure I needed a 10.5' model but it turned out to be great--you do not need to extend every step, only what you need. This ladder flexes very little (I weigh in at 170+) and the maximum weight range is 250 lbs.. I recommend this ladder and also getting the 10.5' model even if you will be using it for 8' ceilings. If you have 9' or 10' ceilings I would recommend a taller model--especially if you will be using it outside.

An RV insurance adjuster just used this ladder to inspect my roof for tree damage. He was kind enough to show me how it worked, including how easy it was to extend and retract it. It’s even light enough I had no trouble carrying it and moving it. I got it yesterday and this morning I could reach the roof for some much needed caulking especially the shower skylight. I wasn’t brave enough to get up on the roof, but I will work on that since I am afraid of heights. Even if I never get on the roof, I can now see the roof and lean over to clean gutters (under trees), and about 3 foot all around the roof.

I was pleased to open the package because the box felt so substantial. Pulling the ladder out it met my first requirement for any product I purchase, does it feel like the best in category? Yes it felt sturdy. I played with it a little and quickly got the hang of it. Later that night my dog got stuck up I. A tree chasing a squirrel, dispatching Sawyer to fetch the ladder, quickly opening it, leaned it against the tree and was able to safely retrieve Little Debbie. Like the ladder, will be using it as a mobile inspection tool for attics and roof to equipment. Need a compact solution to fit with all other samples in a civic.

This is a must have. The price seems high, but at what cost? This ladder is a life saver. I am a flatbed truck driver. Tarping large loads can be dangerous, but not with the help of this compact ladder. Easy to use with indicators to tell if steps are locked in or not. It's not very heavy, yet portable and easy to store, but the quality speaks for itself. I am very impressed. I bought this brand after doing much homework and will highly endorse Telesteps.

Works as advertised. Easy to lower with pinch of buttons. No issues with dropping closing rungs on fngers. Nice light weight. I keep it in my RV for cleaning windows and debris off the tops of my slideouts

We purchased this ladder over a year ago. It replaces nearly EVERY other ladder we have purchased (and that is quite a few). It is a wonderful piece of innovation. It is strong, yet light.

We were asking a local roofer for an estimate on replacing our roof. He said he'd get his ladder and go up on the roof to measure. He took this ladder (longer, of course) out of his truck and my husband fell in love. He had to have it. It takes so little space to store and opens to the exact height you want. It is a bit heavy but that is good for safety. Great idea!

I bought two ladders and return them because the hard plastic pads slide on hardwood, ceramic, vinyl. I use this type of ladder almost every day so can't afford to have it slide out on my. Finally found this with the soft pads that angle also. I have used it about 10 times doing inspections now and it works perfectly. It is much lighter than the other two ladders i tried. It costs a bit more money but i think it is well worth it.
