What you need to know
I really like the sound of my vintage single coil 50s pickup, but I hate the single coil noise. I do however enjoy the warmth of a humbucker as well. This pickup puts you right in the middle of vintage tone single coil and noise free humbucker. I get all the throaty neck characteristics of a single coil with a little more warmth of a humbucker at the same time. This pickup takes away the thinness and tintiness that telecasters can produce.

Silent, probably a bit more than it should.
If you're like me are buying this pickup to end your Tele Hum, go for it. It does what it promises. I also shielded my Tele when installing this, so cant guarantee 100% the pickups did all the job on shutting the hum, but it worked for me. One thing i noticed though is that those pickups have a little less output than the original Tele (mex in my case) pickups, so something to have in mind. I do recommend the pickups. Important notice, make sure you have extra bolts to fixate the pickups or keep the ones your tele had before and maybe get a screw for them. Seymor duncan's seld piercing ones didn't work for me.

Great noiseless neck pickup/ pair with lil’59!
Exactly what I was looking for in a telecaster noiseless neck pickup! I play a variety of styles and music and this hits it all IMO. I do not “Chicken pick.” This combined with a Lil ‘59 bridge pickup is a great combination for versatility in many music genres.

Bad rating due to seller--not Seymour Duncan
I've been using Seymour's pickups since the early 1980s and they are top of the line products. I ordered this STK-T1N pickup and it came from an Amazon affiliate vendor named Liquid Audio. It arrived not with the factory seal on the plastic box, but with several pieces of Scotch tape randomly applied, holding the box closed. NOT a good sign...strike one. I removed the lid and the chrome pickup cover had greasy fingerprints all over it. Strike two. I lifted the pickup out and the four wires plus shield ground connections were ratty and had blobs of solder on them. Strike three. Just for fun, I checked the pickup with a meter and one of the two stacked coils was dead. I am returning the pickup through Amazon, and contacted their customer service to ensure this does not go back into retail stock; I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this issue. Buy from seller Liquid Audio (thumbs down) at your own peril.

Sounds fantastic.
This pick up sounds great. It got a vintage vibe, but is nice and bassy, yet is still twangy. Although I ended up replacing it with something higher output, it did sound great. I replaced it because it didn't mesh well with my Dimarzio fast track II.Unlike most people who review on amazon, i wont give it a low rating just because I picked the wrong type pickup. All in all its a great sounding pick-up, but will not sound well with a very high output bridge pickup.

Mellow Rythm Pickup
I bought this to go along Seymour Duncan Little 59 bridge pickup, and the two really work well together. The Vintage Stack Rhythm is really mellow but can still handle a lot of gain and overdrive. It doesn't have much "sparkle" when you're playing it clean, if that's the kind of thing you're looking for, but I would highly recommend it otherwise.

Sounds very good
I installed this in my Asian Tele and it was noise-free. It has a very good tone, though I think I slightly preferred the sound of the noisy Duncan-Designed pickup it replaced.

Five Stars
Great replacement for a Fender N3 which packed up on my Telecaster . Great tone and punchy.

By far the best neck pickup I've ever had in my tele
By far the best neck pickup I've ever had in my tele. It has volume (enough to balance well with a humbucker in the bridge), warmth and amazing clarity. Most importantly, it is also completely noiseless!
