Arrived Broken
Immediately upon opening, both the diamond plates were not affixed to the frame/holder. Whatever they are using for an adhesive does not work.

Product was slightly defective
The Eze-Lap arrived with failed glue on both sides, so the sharpening surfaces are not attached to the plastic carrier.

Excellent for chisels and plane irons
This is the second one of these that I have. The other has fine and extra-fine. (This one is course and medium.) Both arrived flawless. They are much less messy than water stones. I've used them for chisels and plane irons and they work perfectly on both. These make it so easy to sharpen things that I never hesitate.

feel a little slow to form a shape even on the coarse side
I feel a little slippery when I use the 250 grits side, not "cutting "very well, but overall still a good stone.
