Great case, I have no fear of throwing my kit about.

I have the Pelican N1450. It takes My Canon EOS 5D Mark II fitted with the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens with lens hood and strap, EF 70-200mm f2.8 L IS USM with lens hood, EF 100mm f2.8 Macro L IS USM with lens hood, Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX, Speedlite 270EX. Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3 Adapter rings and 4 filters in a pouch.When I travel by Plane the case comes on board with me. It has been queried a couple of times at the check in desk because it is over 7 kilo but when you explain to them and show them whats inside they will accept it, The airline will not want to accept responsibility for it in the hold. Although I should think that the Pelican would take the punishment that the baggage handlers hand out.Good pice of kit to protect your gear and a good place to keep your gear in humid conditions. Well worth the money.I am now looking at the Pelican N1510 that has wheels and a retractable handle. It is the maximum size the airlines will allow you to take on board with you.

I own a few of these cases of different sizes. You just can't beat them for protecting your valuables.My one of this model has been chucked around all over the place and still looks brands new. It even fell off a boat into the sea whilst diving and it was bone dry inside.Add to that, you've got a spec' you can only love; including the lockable points and cabin safe airlock. Build quality you rarely see now days.Can't reccomend them enough.

Über die Qualität der Peli-Cases ist bereits alles gesagt. Sie sind für extremste Beanspruchung ausgelegt, wie sie wohl nur bei Flugtransport und Expeditionen auftreten dürften, sind dort aber durch nichts zu ersetzen. Für weniger anspruchsvolle Verwendungen benutze ich ebenfalls gute, kleinere B+W Outdoor Cases, aber sie sind in Steifigkeit und Handlichkeit nicht vergleichbar.Schwierig war, die richtige Größe zu finden. Ich wollte unbedingt meine komplette Objektivausrüstung in einer einzigen, handlichen Box und entschied mich für das 1550er-Format mit Rasterschaum. Canons populärste L-Objektive passen da gerade noch aufrecht rein, falls man mit der Deckel- und Bodenpolsterung auskommen kann und lange Objektive in den Kofferecken platziert, wo keine Gefahr von Kompression besteht. Das 135L passt, das 24-70L, das 16-35L, das 100L muss liegen. Auf diese Weise habe ich zehn Objektive in das Ding gebracht, vom Pancake bis zum 70-200 4.0, die alle sicher aufgehoben sind.Der überdimensionierte Tragegriff liegt bei zwölf Kilo Gewicht noch gut in der Hand. Alles top!

Tengo muchas maletas Pelicase y no defraudan, esta es de tamaño mediano ( el modelo 1550). La he comprado para llevar protegido un proyector y gracias a la espuma precintada se amolda perfectamente. Le he hecho también el hueco para el mando y el cable de alimentación.Estas maletas son las mejores junto a las HPRC, cada una con sus particularidades, para proteger material delicado o profesional durante el transporte o para un almacenaje estanco.Yo he maltratado mucho a estas maletas y he de decir que resisten de todo.Son caras pero te duraran toda la vida.

Der Peli ist einfach der Superman unter den Fotokoffern. Beinhart, wirkt unkaputtbar. Bei meinen bisherigen Einsätzen war er es jedenfalls, obwohl seine äußere Erscheinung eine besonders ruppige Behandlung auf manchen Flughäfen zu provozieren scheint.Das Schaumstoffpuzzle im Inneren ist für die Grundeinrichtung und eine bis max. 2 Änderungen geeignet. Danach hält da nichts mehr vernünftig. Aber ich wüsste keine Alternative.Wer mit seinem Fotogehebels durch dick und dünn muss, ist mit dem Peli gut bedient. Empfehlenswert!

It's the second one I bought as a need more space for my gear. for me it's the best case providing protection and customization that fits my needs.Only downside as known is the weight, but there are ways to overcome this (like a getting a trolley)

Ich transportiere darin einen Beamer. Der Würfelschaumstoff war gut zuzuschneiden und fusselt nicht, wenn man es richtig macht. Die Box ist wesentlich leichter als die 19" Birkenmultiplex Kiste, die ich vorher benutzt habe. Und ich kann trotzdem noch darauf sitzen.
