I enjoy burning scented candles. I never liked blowing them out or putting the lid on to snuff the flame. A contractor told me I had soot stains from burning wicks that were too long. I decided to do some research and found that you should trim your wick and snuff your flames. I look at different sets and this one caught my eye and the reviews were great so I now own a product I had no idea I needed ! lol. I love the set and use it every single day! I highly recommend this seller and their high quality product.

The power went out at our house a lot the past month, so we used candles frequently. I had issues with the wicks being submerged in liquid wax, then being hardened, making them impossible to light. I also wanted a way to snuff the candles without blowing the wax everywhere. I found this SmallDot candle accessories package had both plus a wick trimmer that I'll never use. I just let the wick burn off the excess. This does cause a little bit of smoke, so if you want to avoid that, these scissors will be useful. I tried them, and they did work at cutting the wick easily, as they are long and the cutting part is angled. All three pieces are long and made of metal that feels very sturdy and not at all cheap. The wick retriever/digger worked well at digging into the wax and lifting the wick. The snuffer has a small bell at the end (without the clacker of course), and it's on a loop so it moves freely. Other snuffers I was considering are stationary, but I think this way makes it easier to use as it's always at a good angle. I was worried that it would be too large for my small tea candles, but it works fine for snuffing small and large candles alike. It all comes in a gray bag for storage.I didn't find any flaws with using the scissors or wick dipper. The only downside to using the candle snuffer over blowing the candle out is that the bell has to go down into the wax to create a seal and snuff out the candle, so you'll get hot wax on the bell, and you'll need to set it down somewhere like a countertop until it cools, or you can wipe it off with a paper towel. It's still better than putting your face over an open flame and splashing hot wax. That being the worst problem with the experience means the product is pretty much flawless, and I highly recommend it to anyone who uses candles. 5/5 stars

The media could not be loaded.  I think this is a sleek and attractive set which does what it’s intended to do. The candle snuffer and wick trimmer work well. I can’t comment on its durability because I’ve only had it for a few days but I will update this review if I start to notice any faults. I would recommend this kit if it’s what you’re looking for. Also, it’s a great gift for a candle maker or candle enthusiast.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this as a present for my mother-in-law and I’m very disappointed by the snuffer specifically. Upon opening the box, I noticed the ring that joins the stick and the rounded snuffer head is ALREADY CHIPPED in various spots! The black paint is already noticeably chipped throughout the ring and it’s very noticeable- see video. The other two items look good for now, but now I’m worried that they won’t last very long either. Overall, not happy with this purchase.

This candle care set was just what I was looking for. The packaging is high quality and the tools are made of durable/quality material as well. Very pleased with this product as I can use with different sized candles. Would be a great gift for anyone who loves candles.

For only $14, you get all three of these plus a little baggie. I got it in black because I was worried about the metal staining from the flames/smoke. They all work really well as they should

I gave this as a gift to my daughter who loves candles. She was excited about using it and getting more out of her scented candles. I ordered the gold color, which is very shiney and pretty. (I wished i could have gotten in rose gold). We have only used it 2-3 weeks, but it seems to hold up just fine. Daughter loves the set also. As a candle hoarder and lover I recommend getting this set to take care of your candles. I use the snuffer and wick dipper to put out candles of all sizes and heights. The wick trimmer is great and catches the snipped end so it doesn’t fall into the wax. I rest the tools on the bag it came in so I don’t get wax on my tables. A great set of tools for candles.
