Dogs LOVE it! Dentist approves of it!
Recently we spent $5000 on one dog $2000 on the other dog at the doggie dentist fixing broken teeth. Poor dog almost had an abscessed tooth and was in pain! Why? what does that have to do with this review? One word: CHEWING!!!! We were going with popular, allegedly healthy chews ... antlers, nylabones and bully sticks. $7000 later the dentist tells us they break the dogs' teeth! Rawhides? while my dog loves it, and it's ok w the dentist, it's a non-digestible product, so not so good in my mind. And then I found these scappy snacks. Talk about happy happy all around! The dogs do a happy dance when they get these. I don't worry about vet bills from non-digestible products getting stuck because the dog swallowed too big of a hunk, or choking hazards, or dental bills. The dogs get happy chewing time because they can chew on them for a good while (yahoo, giving me peace), they have the same texture that the dentist approves of in rawhides, and they have good "stink" to the dogs which makes for wagging tails and doggy smiles all around.given that these also have good products for the dogs' joints, I am so sold on these and a firm believer in Scappy snacks!!

All natural and my dog LOVES them
My 5 month old Samoyed loves these! My dog tries to crunch through bully sticks and that makes me nervous since they're so hard but these seems to soften pretty quickly. Not too soft because I can still hear him crunch little bits but it's thinner and the texture is more like cartilage. He seems to only bite off little pieces at a time. For some reason, this is the highest value treat for him, so I use these when I really need to distract him, like at the vet or when we need to put in eyedrops. The only caveat I'd have is that when he chews it down to a small piece, he will try and swallow it. But then he makes himself choke it back up and tries to swallow it again. But that's like most dogs chews and you have to watch them when it becomes a small piece. Another thing I like about these is that they start out pretty big so I feel comfortable leaving him alone with it when its brand new.

Ok, but kind of messy substitute for rawhide bones
These dog treats are a little hard to cut into smaller pieces. I have 2 small dogs, so I do need to cut the treats to the appropriate size. They are greasy as well. I think that they are expensive also. That being said, the positives are that this is made in the USA, (safer for my dogs) and my dogs like them. I cut them into pieces, and give them to my dogs outside. My vet suggested buying only made in USA rawhide bones. As it turns out, those are hard to find. So that's why I ordered this product.

short lived
My 10 and 13 year old GSD demolished one of these each in 15 minutes. Definitelynot worth the expense.

Shih Tzu loves it, I didn't try them
My dog loves these treats, for some reason they are not carried around where I live, but she loves them. Along with all of my friends dogs who get them when I go over for dinner I bring a bottle of wine and one scapula per dog. I don't feel as guilty giving here these now and again due to the naturally found benefits to joints in them (chrondroitin sulfate, glucosamine, collagen.)

Decent duration chew but it made my dog sick every time he chewed them. Thought it was a fluke the fist time, but he threw up both times. Other dog didn't have an issue.

Good for large dogs
Large dog enjoyed these as an occasional treat. Did not last, but given his size and jaw strength, did not expect any different result

Not great, and a little over priced.
These weren't terrible, but I believe they were over priced for what you get. Both of my dogs liked them- but they love all treats.
