LeakSmart 8850830 LeakSmart Hub 3.0 with Built-In WiFi

Leaksmart have very poor customer support - you get voice mail and they do not return calls.While the product works very well it arrived with a completely dead Lithium battery.

Product works as intended. Even text you if a sensor batteries are bad. Received hub with a bad back-up battery battery. Didn't know it was bad for week because I couldn't get the sensors and valve to stay online. When I replace the back-up battery everything worked. Note, if the back-up battery dies, the hub will not function as intended even if plugged in.

This system is working great. I have 7sensors and a gen 2 shut off valve. Having flooded before it’s good to get text alert to everyone in family with a phone when leak is detected but is awesome to shut off water to the whole house when not home even when house loses electricity and/or internet.

Purchased this hub and 5 sensors. Had had it for ~3 months and tried really, really hard to make it work. First location the hub was about 5 feet from my router and would "lose" the WiFi signal about once a day. Moved it to physically be next to the router and got to last about a week. Current config is this hub is taped to the antenna of my route so it simply couldn't be be any closer. Yet still fails every 7-10 days. When it fails it stays offline until you manually reset. Meaning you have no protection until you reset the device. This is less than ideal. Total waste of money. I'm going to try and return mine. DO NOT BUY

Do not buy this hub or shut-off valve.. Shut-off valve requires hub. Hub needs an ethernet connection to connect to router. There is no port for connection. Hub will not connect via Wi-Fi because there is no QR and IP serial number is not accepted. Cannot use water shut-off valve without hub. Company will not respond to help. Do not buy these devices.

This hub works as advertised. It is relatively easy to set up and appears to have good range.

Good product that met my expectations. Was somewhat surprised to find it can only manage one valve. Would not hesitate to purchase from this vendor again in the future.

I consider myself tech savvy and attempted to pair this hub with the rest of the system for HOURS! It would pair, then drop and would not connect with the other sensors or the valve. Total junk!
