BerkleyGulp! Floating Pinched Crawler Fishing Soft Bait

I purchased these based on a recommendation from one of my Troy fishing buddies. Went out to a freshly stocked small pond and fi hired I give these a whirl. I caught plenty of catfish but no trout (which I was targeting). I have used these a few times and every time I use them I catch catfish even at mid day but I have yet to catch a trout with these.They are pretty durable and can catch a handful of fish before being shredded.The only issue I have with these is actually with the bag, once you open it initially the scented juice these are in leaks. I have had this issue with every bag of these that I have purchased, the solution that has worked for me is keeping them in a ziplock bag after opening the package, the worms can still marinate in the Gulp juice without spilling the juice all over my tackle bag.

I like this line of bait, as it provides scent and good texture that seems to work on perch, and fame fish. I rig it up “wacky” style and use it to fish when the bass are timid, or even drop shot style higher up the line for a double hook set up.Works well for jigging off a salt water pier as well.

I don't know about trout or panfish (I was looking to catch those or bass) but this bait worked great at catching catfish! A little over 3 hours of fishing and we caught 5 catfish at my local man made lake that is mainly stocked with trout, catfish and sometimes bass. 4 of the catfish were 12"-13" long and one was about 16"-18" long. I was cutting these in half as well, there were a couple/few times we got nibbles which I think were bluegill and/or small large mouth bass trying to get them.Update: Literally a year later and these are still catching catfish! Don't buy the 1", buy the 2" and cut them in half, save yourself some money as the 1" are almost the same price, by cutting the 2" in half you get twice the amount.

I finally found my new bait for trout. No mess like power bait is nice and they float making visibility much better for strikes!

I like the jar a lot more, the lid is much more secure than the new ziplock bag.

Not your typical Gummy worm, has a really bad taste to it

Trout love these. Only thing better is real worms but then you have to pump them with air to get them to float.
