Didn't take a pic before installing but another review here has something similar. 3 of the filters looked reasonably good in construction. One had a couple large gaps in the fins which is obviously due to an issue in molding the end cap. There is plastic in the end cap holding the pleats/fins apart but the size of the "wedge" was pretty dramatic in just one area and the edge of the cap was sliced up (seemed to be from some machinery as the gouges were pretty deep and uniform). Someone should have caught this before it was boxed up as it was super obvious.I put them in because the old filters were done for... and I wouldn't want to return all 4, just to have one replaced. In my experience, that is when you get 4 new ones with one of them having a different issue. Time will tell if they hold up. Typically the filter material itself or the bands around them fail due to quality issues, if they are going to fail quickly, and I don't see the gap or the gouged plastic end cap changing functionality. Holding my breath!

A lot cheaper than OEM. Same performance

These filters when compared to the hayward set they were replacing, were a disappointment. They were cheaper made, the filter element was flimsy. They did fit the housing well. The main issue I had with them is they did not trap the sediment from the water. Especially if you were trying to vacuum the pool. As soon as the vacuum started, you were able to see the debris being pumped right back into the pool. In the last couple of months using them, we were never able to have a clean pool.The only reason I hadn't returned them sooner was, I thought I may have installed something incorrectly. This was not the case. I did have a professional come inspect them. Replaced with the hayward set, even though they were quite a bit more. My pool cleared up within 24 hrs.

Fast to ship and a great product for the price.

Probably should have already changed these on my inground pool. Seem to be OEM quality at a reduced price. Works great! I guess time will tell if Hayward Brand would have lasted longer.

Filters appear to be well made but not quite as sturdy in comparison to my old Filbur FC-1225. The internal sleeve of filter does not have same structural integrity as Filbur brand. Filbur has an inner ring that strengthens center of core significantly. I will update review if this becomes a problem down the road.My last Filbur filter set lasted approx 3 years (cleaning approx every 4 months). I am hoping to achieve similar results with this set. I will be updating this review as time moves along.The only reason for my 3 star review at this time is because 1 of the 4 filters in the set did not fit properly on the manifold. I called the company that manufactures the filters and their reply was not adequate to make me a happy customer. They said a loose filter shouldn't affect the ability of filter set to perform properly. I just paid a lot of money for filters, I want them to fit snugly. Only 1 filter was loose. I was left with few options so I decided to order another complete set to replace the 1 loose filter. I then had to return 1 full set for refund. Replacement set seemed to fit fine. In my opinion, the company could've easily sent me 1 replacement filter and I would have been completely satisfied and posted a 5 star review. Again, I will be updating this review depending on how things progress with these filters in the weeks/months to come.

We live in the low desert and therefore have to put up with sand, lots of it. We bought these replacements 2 years ago and in the process of replacing them again. They fit perfectly, lasted maybe longer than they should despite the sandy environment. I said maybe because I don’t remember our pool guy telling us he cleaned them. Noting the press was high I decided to clean them myself and they were dirty. Very dirty. So I decided to buy them again except the price went up considerably. I was happy with them but will continue to try other brand that are least expensive,

I got these to replace the original filters that came with my Hayward C3030 filter that I bought 4 years ago. Those filters had started to split at the blue end caps and were allowing dirty water back into the pool, reducing the filtration. These new ones did the same thing, but not because the end caps were split. All 4 had the same issue, where the opening on each end was about 1/32" to 1/16" too big. When I installed them, they sat too easily against the base plate (which has mods to fit into each filter). This caused them to flop around as I installed all 4 and got residue from the O rings onto the top part of the filter material. Likewise, when I put on the top piece, it fit loosely over all 4 filters. This resulted in some dirty water getting back into the pool. I suspect the machining process for the end caps got off slightly and no one in their Quality control group caught it, since all 4 filters had the exact same issue.I requested a return from Amazon and ordered a set of more well known brand filters. These Unicel filters fit like i have always sen in the past. They required a slight push to seat them on the base plate, they sat firm while I installed all 4, and the top piece required a slight push as well to seat on the filters. Totally worth the extra $10 for filters that fit and work better. I am sure the defect in the Guardian Brand impacted a lot of filters sold around that time as all 4 were exactly the same. I am not sure how often Quality Control checks their work but multiple runs of this filter size probably have the same issue.

Picked these up in August 2021 and used for a few months. Initially I was happy. Cleaned them after a month, and when we closed the pool in early October. They were in visually rough shape when I went to open the pool in May. After 2 weeks of struggling to stabilize the pool I decided to replace them with Hayward filters which I have used anywhere from 2-3 years at a time. The pool was clear and good to go within a few days. I don’t mind spending $400 every 2-3 season, but $250 for a few months is too much. Had me considering going to a sand filter at one point!

I just installed them. They fit perfectly. The demon the phone was helpful in ensuring it was the right filter for my pool.For the price it’s ok. I wouldn’t pay more than I what I paid though. Hayward has filters for not that much more.

I used this filtration system in my 20,000 gallon koi pond. It is supposed to be used in a swimming pool. I use it as a polishing filter after the biological filter. I am impressed how well it works.

The filters are working as intended, excellent product

The product is great value for the price.
