Perfect size and price.
These are smallish and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I remember my Grandmother used these to put up her hair, and I looked everywhere for the same thing. Should have checked Amazon first. They hold great and are not intrusive. Good price, and ya get plenty. Haven’t had one break yet!

Best hairpins for day to day AND special occasions
These are fantastic at holding thick hair and are far better priced than their European inspired pins!

Secure Hold with a Bit of Practice
I was looking for something stronger than bobby pins to keep my hair up, and these U-shaped magic grip hairpins have been a great find! As someone with thin to slightly medium hair, it took a little practice to get the technique right, but once I figured it out, they hold all day without slipping. They work really well for buns and French rolls, and I love how effortless styling feels compared to using a ton of regular pins.

Don't last
Really great holding power, better than any other hair clip I've used, but not very sturdy. Three have already broken after daily use.

A game-changer
These are the bomb! It does help if your hair is frizzy/curly as opposed to straight and sleek -- but these hold better than anything I've seen, with far less hair loss upon removal than metal bobby-pins.

They are light and hold well in straight hair.
These are light and hold well in my straight hair. I've slept with them in my hair and they are still in place in the morning.

Meh
These are ok. I have thickish hair that's a bit coarse (thanks to greys 😕) and long. I like to put the sides back while leaving the bulk of the hair down and wanted something more mature than barrettes or those ting claw clips. No matter what I do, I cannot get these to stay for more than an hour; they just slowly slide out of my hair. I've tried more hair, less hair, twisting my hair, not twisting my hair, same thing always happens. They look nice and I'm using them, but I have to redo it often. They don't leave kinks in my hair, which I do like.
