Garnet Filigree Journal (Diary, Notebook)

I journal every day and go through a book of journal every three months. So I consider myself an authority in appraising journals. I can tell you that the ones by Peter Pauper Press are hands down the best out there considering quality and value for money. I just got this new one and the cover design is my favorite so far from PPP. I feel so much joy simply holding it in my hands. (I know that might sound weird to some of you less sentimental type, because after all, you can say it's only a glorified notebook). But seriously, this is a beauty to both behold and touch. There's a magical quality to it that I simply cannot fully put into words. I feel balanced, joyful and content when I hold it in my hands. I hope this journal will make you very happy as it has made me.

I’ve been a fan of PPP for a little while now, and I go through approximately one journal every six months. I love PPP’s journals for their elegant and often historical designs, ease of use (because they lie flat), and overall quality of the binding and paper.This journal is no exception. In fact, of all the journals I have from this publisher, it shines the most in the light! Really, it’s very bright when you look at it the right way.Aside from that, what can I say? I love the satin ribbon, the size (I prefer the oversized journals), and everything about it. Good job, PPP. Hopefully this journal doesn’t go out of print anytime soon; get it while you can!

I am keeping journals of our year with COVID-19. These journals are beautiful and first class. I have 5 now and they will be a wonderful collection to pass on to my sons.Of course they may fight over who gets them. I love them.

I got two journals. Both are just what I need. They are definitely better than on pictures. Quality is just great, as it 's supposed to be. I will order more. Wish they had more similar designs to those two I have purchased.

Getting this for a friend who journals everyday. He’s never got anything this nice in journals. So for Christmas I hope he likes it.

Lovely notebook! Well worth the money. Very nice quality paper and the book is sturdily bound as well.

Cover was very good. Really liked it. Hardback so all pages protected. Using it as my personal notes diary.

Absolutely gorgeous cover! Thick, ivory-coloured lined pages, no page numbers. I use many different fountain pen inks on this paper; nice smooth surface with no show- or bleedthrough with regular writing. (A concentrated amount of ink will show a little.) I have lots of A5 and traveller's or passport size journals, and the larger size of this one is really refreshing. It makes a beautiful private journal! One page did warp a little when I glued a bit of scrapbooking paper to one corner (I probably used too much glue). Not too worried, as I'm happy to find this beautiful, well made, fountain-pen friendly journal for such a reasonable price!

This journal is so stunning pictures really do not do this journal justice you really need to see it in person. I love the gold gilded edges, the ribbon bookmark is such a nice touch. I use a fountain pen and there is zero feathering or bleeding. I can’t wait to purchase more.
