Solid and Secure lighting stand.
I operate a mobile DJ business. Prior to adding this stand to my gear, I used to mount my lighting on my speaker stands for smaller events and I used a ProX "T" bar stand that required me to use a wing nut and bolt system to mount the lights. The tubular design of the ADJ T Bar stand allows for quick and simple mounting of my light fixtures with the clamps. This stand is VERY stable and solid when loaded with 4 light fixtures and a Gobo projector. It's bulky, but the alternative is to use a smaller less stable stand. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for and am very satisfied with my purchased. Can anyone recommend a bag or case for this??

LTS-2 from American DJ
This is my 3rd purchase of this particular stand. I use 2 in my DJ set up usually, but had to replace one. These are fairly lightweight, and are to be used for light to medium weight lighting fixtures, depending on how many you install. The price is great, quality is just ok. I bought this one again, because 1) the price, and 2) I could use the broken one for parts. One thing Iʻve learned now that I own 3 of them... donʻt over tighten ANYTHING. The screw caps are all plastic, and they WILL break if you over tighten them. So...THE BAD:Quality isnʻt made for heavy duty use. Also, donʻt over tighten anything! *I canʻt stress that enough. Itʻs lightweight cheaper aluminum. So it will dent easily if youʻre not careful. Also, donʻt expect to put large fixtures on these and fly them 12ʻ in the air. (I put a light bar on the top and 2 fixtures below (revo, vertigo, revo rave, etc)THE GOOD:Price is good. Now that I know what to be careful about... Iʻm sure Iʻll get a lot longer use out of the two I have in my system right now. Another good point is that theyʻre lightweight and easily transportable. I donʻt use huge lighting fixtures so these work great for me. (Most of my gigs are weddings: 25-50 pax, with the occasional dance of up to 250)So if youʻre looking for a budget lightweight light tripod... and you can be careful with it... this is not bad. If you want something heavier, more durable, and solid. Then this isnʻt for you, and you should look at something else.

All in all these light towers are a great deal. Unfortunately
All in all these light towers are a great deal. Unfortunately, we received one that was broken, returned it, and then the new one we received is missing parts. It is missing a knob to tighten and keep the tower in an extended position, the light mounting hardware, as well as a key to to place in the hole to keep the tower extended.

Good Stand
I like the sturdiness and the height it allows. The stand gives many options for mounting accessories. It provides just what is needed before the you would have to move to trusses.

While the base is sturdy, individual parts are ver flimsy
While the base is sturdy, individual parts are ver flimsy. This stand did not last 5 minutes outside the package before parts began to break.
