Pedal Boat Polyester Cover

I was very surprised and pleased with how well this cover fit my Dolphin 5 seater! I used 2 five gallon buckets, 1 in each front seat (upside down)and then I put a smaller 2 gallon bucket (large kids bucket) upside down over the cooler lid on back. We had 3 weeks of rain including heavy down pours of rain and wind. I was expecting to go check on the dock and boats thinking that cover would be blown off and sunk to the bottle of the lake. It stayed securely fitted with no problem. Great buy!2nd review Jan 2019...Amazing cover. Today after 8”snow...Tropical storm winds, heavy rain repeatedly since putting cover in at end of summer 2018; this cover has held up and stayed on!Update: The paddle boat is stored on the boat dock when not in use. I have purchased a second cover due to the boat dock breaking loose on one side from shore in terrible weather conditions, resulting in the dock turning sideways onto the shore line under trees. A heavy branch made a ripe into the side of the cover, causing leaks from the weather. Tuff little cover through a lot until then. I felt it was worth a second purchase.

Using it for my pedal boat. I’ve purchased several covers over 13 years and this is the best yet. I can tell it’s going to hold up to the environment. Fits very snug but not too difficult to get on. Nothing has gotten in… no water or bugs. Very satisfied!

Fits perfect on my Play Mate pedal boat. Water does dip in when it rains, but the beach balls under it where the seats are help hold it up.

I use this cover on my Water Wheeler ASL pedal boat. It's not a perfect fit so I do have to use various tricks to remove the sagging spots. (I've tried beach balls and small rafts or packaging air pillows. It takes a while to figure out the best way to support the sags, but once you get it down, it's worth the bother.) I've owned this boat since 2000 and have had to buy MANY covers over the years -- usually one every year or two. I used to pay $100 for something very similar to this one and the performance is the same. This one might even be better (except the fit). It still only lasts about a year or less, but it's totally worth the lower price. FYI, I am in Maryland and the boat is in the weather 24/7.

you are going to end up pumping out water anyway.. just buy a solar pump and forget the cover.....i put it on my pedalboat.. it rained heavy for a few days.. not only did it allow rain to pool on the cover.. it let water through the cover.. what is the point of buying a cover, going through the effort to cover it before it rains.. to have the same result as if you never bought the cover, or invested the time to put it on..

This cover is water proof. At least for me it was. However I did put a beach ball under it to keep it from sagging and allowing puddles to form. It fit perfectly and never came off in the wind. For me in my location the elastic cord was just fine. I have a Sun Dolphin Sun Slider 5 for reference. I give it only 3 stars because it only lasted a year. The sunlight just causes the fabric to degrade and become fragile then it tears all over the place. On the flip side, it is the cheapest option out there, so if you don't mind considering it a disposable item and plan on replacement every year, you can do OK compared to the price of some others. I am now shopping for a new cover and I'm not sure I'm going of this one again. I like things to have a bit more lifespan I guess.

This cover is pretty good. Fits 18 year old paddle boat no problem. Our surrounding neighbors on the lake has asked us about them now pretty much all them have ordered one too. Only one regret. .. which is, wish we knew about these sooner. Great item to purchase. Some people say water will get on cover and weigh it down. We solved that tiny issue. Put a small pvc pipe cut the length that will raise the cover just enough so rain does not pool at the front.. get a coffee can, plastic or toy bucket, stick pipe in can or bucket pack with rocks/pebbles or cement, put a cut out tennis ball on top of pvc pipe so it doesn't punch thru over time. Small issue solved. Well worth that little extra step. Our paddle boat is 18 yes old, faded etc. But still fun to use.. even better that we don't have to dump water. U can also do this while still tied to dock in summers.

Had it a couple months now. Fits snug and is waterproof. Been through a few bad windy storms and it has held well. The water does puddle on the top to no fault of the cover but more the shape of the paddle boat so I don't know how long the waterproof material will hold up. I've used a couple plastic clamps to pull it tight to help with the puddling. I can't use the cover with the canopy on because my canopy when down is longer than the boat footprint.
