Brinno SHC1000 PeepHole Camera, SHC1000W14

The camera serves my purpose in deterring ASB and capturing unwanted bad behaviour.

The product does not work properly. It does not send The photos by email as it is suppose to do. I have reseated it three times and still no improvement. Inaceptable for The cost, i hope some feedback from Brinno about The solution or I will return The product.

have tried multiple times to set the date on this as I bought it to protect myself from an abusive neighbour - but after following the reset instructions and OKing to the date repeatedly it defaults back to a date in 2013 every time - this is really annoying and makes the files pretty much useless as evidence which is what I wanted the cam for - accessing the files is also really difficult and when I select one the unit just goes back to the current camera view - only means of checking the files is to remove the flash card and use a reader on my PC - so it turns out to be not that easy to use or set - if anyone can tell me how to set the date so that it retains that as the current date or can easily see the files captured I would appreciate it otherwise its just an expensive peep hole viewer and not achieving what it was purchased for by improving my feelings of safety and security in my home

Does not have motion detection. Doesn't auto record. Not what I expected. Expensive door viewer.

It does not automatically capture images, you have to do it yourself. I returned it, and never heard from the marketplace trader again, never got my money back.

I had used for 2 years brinno duo 1000w peephole cam with 2 motion sensors one on the outside of the door and one separate for side wall mounting. The image is terrible and on 3-4 meters away you could hardly recognise somebody's face. The outside motion detector require all the time to change the battery CR something largest which are not cheap on every 10 days. To change the battery of the motion sensor you need to unscrew super tiny screws you can't even hold with 2 fingers it could go below your nail and once you loose them you have just 1 spare and nobody else on internet have so tiny screws so your outdoor sensor for 60£ could be left exposed to theft The only way to order is to contact them via email and after exchanging few emails they will slam you with shipping price and wild price for 5 spares of more than 30£. In the morning when the sun is shining directly at the camera is blind for 2 hours until the sun rise up in sky. if you run the main device on 4 x 1.5v batteries it will take around 15 days before it die so it will need mini usb -C charging cable connected you can make it super sensitive on knocking vibration and it start recording 24x7 otherwise it is waiting for knock or motion detection if the outside battery still works cause when it die there is no indication you just stop getting so many recordings. The mobile application is exceptionally bad you can just turn it to watch live and on every few tries the application crash. There is a chance to see recording for particular minute but when you click on back always crash and you have to re-open again the application. When you click on recordings instead of showing you last few you have to wait to download few days of photos before it allow you to choose the photos from last few minutes.At least a filter on the date would be nice or just load last 2 minutes of photos. Anyway this device is more expensive than ring but this is what you get.
