I am 5'7" and generally do not wear petite. I purchased a pair of these in regular length and they were way too long. I purchased a petite pair and they were the length I was looking for which is just above the top of where my shoe hits. That being said I wear them tucked in to my farm boots so length was less important than fit. If you are 5'7" the regular length will need to be hemmed and the petite will be too short if you want it to meet your shoes. I love the material. The denim is the weight of my regular blue jeans. The pockets are nice and deep to put my phone in. I do not typically like a pant that rises to my navel but these are very comfortable and I do not even notice. I am very happy with these pants.

I have bought Chic Jeans for years! Since at least 2004, the longest I can remember! Back then, I could buy them from Kmart, but the box stores are disappearing and I have to find other ways to get them!Back then, I all different colors including pink and light blue! Not in fashion anymore I guess! lol But now I have khaki and brown and gray. I have black and denim! I’ll get what I can get!The only downside of Chic Jeans is that I always buy the petite jeans and they are so long that it seems like I’m 6’ tall! I’m a shrinking in height senior who is now only 5’1”! I used to hem all of my pants myself but I’m 70 now and I’m paying someone to hem them now! Gives me a break! But really, I’ve seen other comments about this same issue. They don’t have to be so long in pant length!

One pair fits wonderfully, the other pair fits too big. They're both comfy though.

I love Chic jeans, the fit is great but, the "average" length is what I always wore. But these two pair I received were so long , I could pull them up to my armpits ! I had to hem them. I guess the "new" average is for people that are 5'11 & above :/

These jeans met my expectations. They are comfortable and wash well. I have looked for comfortable jeans and purchased many others. I would suggest buying these jeans to anyone.

I order these pants for my mother for Christmas tonight I get ready to box/ wrap her gifts and the pants are super long and wide leg they supposed to be straight leg and avg .. not tall .. 7 days left before Christmas I can’t go shopping

They are SOooooooo comfortable. And even though “leggings” aren’t allowed at work, I wear these and nobody is the wiser. Awesome!
