This is a good resource but lacks in some details; for instance, it would be nice to have more details such as a top list of instrumentals, so that you don't have to pore through the long list and pull them out individually. I use it in combination with Joel Whitburn's Top Pop Singles of 1955-2018 and it provides good material for Top Hit shows.

I’m looking for interesting trivia. This isn’t it. Just convoluted rankings which are hard to understand.

I'm a Sirius/XM subsciber and I listen to their oldies channel 60s on 6. This great book is the perfect companion because it lists every song that made a Top 40 playlist in the entire decade. Plus, it is endorsed by Lou Simon who is the terrific program director for 60s on 6. He uses it to compile the tunes he plays on his wonderful show called the "60s Satellite Survey". All you boomers out there need this book!

This book is great contains every record that hit the top 100 pop singles chart from 1960 to 1969. Tells you the record company and ranks all the records. Need something to find a record you compelety forgotten about when you were young.Well it is here in this book.Also ranks by year and in order from a to z.

If you are into 60's music and oldies, this book is an excellent resource. There were often songs I heard that might not have made the top 40, but I liked them anyways. Now I can go back and research songs and artists and rediscover them. There are perhaps hundreds of songs that I either don't remember or never even heard of...this book helps to fill in the gaps.

I was looking forward to getting this book. It arrived with corners turned up, cover torn and pages folded. Was not a new book at all. Payed new book price for used book. Horrible. Was so disappointed. Shipping box was perfect. No damage, so damage was not in shipping.

I am a collector of the Joel Whitburn music ranking books and this book is another great source for ranking the music that I grew up with. I went from age 6 to 16 during this wonderful decade and this music brings back alot of memories (good and bad) .This book ranks every song from 1960-1969 and also has the top groups from each year.

Would like to seen year by year listings.
