This is a GREAT reference for bird watchers. Not only is it informative but it has easy features to identify birds, even such methods as color tabs! The last pages offer check lists to tick which birds you've seen - a feature I just love. And then each bird identified has specific data for thst species. It's easy to read and inderstand, small enough to carry in your pocket, just overall extremely user friendly. Highly recommend purchasing one

I bought this as a gift for a client who bought a large piece of property. What a great way to get to know the native birds of Oklahoma.

I bought this for my granddaughter, she's 9. It is set up for easy identification of local birds. She loves it and uses it often.

Smaller then I expected, which was my bad, it does after all call itself a field guide! For that it is a great size with perfect color pictures and good information regarding each bird highlighted. It is sorted by general color of bird. If you see a mostly brown bird you look in the brown section. Mostly blue bird, look in blue, and so on. That will take a little getting used to, but reality is, the book is a perfect size and all the color photos are on the left side page making it easy to gently fan through skimming until you find what you are looking for.

This books is great! So easy to use! Love how you can find the birds really fast with just enough details!
