Dorman 645-506 Door Harness With Connectors Compatible with Select Dodge Models

This was a direct fit for my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 (new body style). The reason for the 4 stars was because the instruction paperwork that came with it were for a blower motor wiring harness. Luckily, I found a YT video that showed exactly how easy it was to remove and replace the harness. Time will tell if this harness will last.

Easy to install and works great.

Even though I feel the this hardness is a bit pricey; the risk of having a computer fried or worts a vehicle fire is well worth the price.I install this in my 2002 Ram1500 Quad Cab rear driver side door. I was hesitant to install it because the vendor does not recommended for my model. I when ahead and matched (trace) every wire from the main connector to each connector for each accessory and they all match, even though the color coding is different. The connectors all match the manufacture old ones. The push in holders for the hardness are identical distancing as the factory making it a breeze to install. Make sure you pay attention to the routing of the cables to not rub or get cut the window elevator. This is not an installation instructions. ⛔️ Install it at your own risk ⚠️I will buy it again

I bought this well over a year ago, but finally today got it done. All the electrical connectors are correct, everything now works. BUT . . . The final step, which is to clip the harness into the B pillar was a real bummer. The clip device is cheaply made, and not made to the correct dimensions. The little "ears" that clip it into the hole in the B pillar do not hold it securely. And then one broke off. I guess I will be doing this repair again. This time I will not cheap out with the Dorman product. We will see how much the dealer wants for a quality part. Not real happy.

I wish I could have found just the connector I needed but this was good to have a fresh set wire.

The media could not be loaded.  The harness itself is an exact match. The only disappointment is the main connector. The main connector does not engage completely into the post opening to complete the sealing after connection is made. A better and more careful quality on the main connector plug will make this a better product. I currently do not have a complete seal to keep moisture from entering at the transition port from cab post to door. U CC

I can't speak to longevity, but these things were a perfect fit. There's no installation instructions, but just check out youtube for how-to. There is one tricky plug to clip in at the actual door latch, so get your mirror or phone camera out to see what's up, otherwise you'll be fumbling around a lot!

Plug and play exactly laid out as the old harness. The plug is hard to get on the door lock mechanism but is no fault to the harness just where the mechanism is located.

Easy to install. Had plastic clip broke where holes in place at door frame. Used electrical tape to repair to keep tight fit. Otherwise everything works.

Is not compatible with 2009 Ford F-150. Had to return it.Came quick and well packaged. Just not the one we need.

The order came in faster than expected during covid. Not much else to say but it worked for my needs
