Keeps rugs where they are
Of the many, many types of rug anti-slip products I have tried, I like this one the best. I have multiple rugs (a runner, a small mat size and a larger rug) that I use these on with hardwood floors. I have a kid and a husband and 4 cats, so the rugs get stepped on, kicked off of and there's almost always cat hair somewhere, despite vacuuming every other day, so these things have been put to the test. I particularly like that they are able to be rinsed off and reused, and that they don't damage the floors or leave a sticky residue like tape can. Here are a couple of pieces of advice I have to help them work better: 1. The little stickers they come with to stick on the back of the rug are worthless. Get some good, heavy duty duct tape (Gorilla Tape or the like) and use that on the corners of your rugs instead. It sticks much better to the back of the rug and provides a good surface for the Ruggies to adhere to. 2. Make sure the floor where you're planning to stick the rug down is clean. You don't have to prep it too much, just don't try to stick the Ruggies to a dusty floor. 3. When you wash the Ruggies off, use warm water and let them dry completely before trying to stick them back onto your rug, and make sure that your duct taped corner of the rug is wiped off. 4. For runners or a longer rug, put a set in the middle, with the long part of the triangle facing to the edge of the rug. That requires 6 Ruggies, but it really works well. I do wish they were a little thinner, because they do make the corners of the rugs a little higher than the rest, but if they were thinner, it would probably be harder to not tear them when removing them from the floor, so I'm fine with it.

They used to be wonderful, but now meh.
These are WONDERFUL if you don’t need the extra paper thin triangle to place on the bottom of a rug, which is designed to make the thicker sticky piece stay between the rug and the floor like a sandwich. The little paper piece to stick on the furniture used to be pretty adhesive, but I think they changed the formula because it doesn’t stay on now at all (3rd party observer, aka dog, tested it for movement when she was flying across the living room and shifted the supposedly sticking rug). The sticky piece is great and easy to clean, I just wish it stayed on the actual bottom of the rug in one spot because it is only designed for hard surfaces. No damage to my hardwood though.

Quality has diminished
We bought these identical rug grippers about 10 years ago and they worked great. These? Hardly stick at all to the carpet and we had to use double face tape on the part that goes on the carpet for it to even stay on. Very disappointed. Features ask if it was easy to remove..... absolutely...... too easy since it doesn't stick to the carpet.

Not great for dog owners
They stick to the rug without much effort but they do not hold up against dogs running across the carpet. Within minutes the rug is flipped over and I'm stuck repositioning the Ruggies under the rug constantly once again. They are likely better for regular foot traffic but not recommended to keep down rugs for dog owners.

Works just like advertized
I needed to use the optional stickers on the back of the rug first, and then it works like a dream. Easy to pick up if I need to and then sticks just as well once back down.

Not best quality. Returning
The Ruggies were good but the other pieces to put on the rug itself were thin and cheap plastic, not like the ones i had bought before that are more like canvas. Returning these.

Didn't work for me
I bought these to hold an area rug in place in my bathroom. They would not stick to the back of my runner even using the extra adhesive stickers they give you.

Rugs stay in place
I've used these before. They don't wear out. I list one & had to buy replacement. They are perfect. I've used other products that stuck to wood flooring & nearly ruined it.
