The unit came with no operator instructions for the controller. All the literature for the controller pertains to a water softener and NOT the carbon filter system I bought. Can't find any info on line either.... ugh...

As with these types of filtration systems, usually piping and shut off valves are required. So, hire the plumber to install. You'll also want a pre-filter and a water conditioning tank to be totally salt free and have the best tasting water.As for function, it's great. Water has no taste, which is the desired result.
