Wesbar Clearance Light LED #99

The consumer interface of Horizon Global, parent company of Wesbar is terrible. I've installed a number of these lights on my boat trailer and when the saltwater does them in, and they're within the one year warranty period, i try to turn them in for a replacement. Good luck getting through on the phone, ever. Try to press one to get a callback...won't happen. Try to submit a form online--"Won't go thru now". Frustrating. Messaged Amazon about this and they're giving me a new light- Shouldn't happen this way. Amazon shouldn't bear the cost for a poor performing vendor. That's my rant and I'm sticking to it.

It works as intended, but I would NEVER get this wiring type again. This product uses the mounting screw as the ground to the trailer. This requires each mounting location to be clean and free of oxidation... what a pain in the *** especially for a trailer going in salt water. I strongly recommend purchasing the type with both a power and ground wire instead of this type.

The title says it all. Only con is I think it costs twice as much as it should.

These are very badly assembled. The way they are designed and built, the positive wire is trapped under the grounded portion. Therefore you will absolutely eventually short out your wiring as the sharp metal edges slice through the wire insulation. All four lights that I purchased were defective in the same way. If you only need your lights to work today, then these are fine. If you want them to work next year, don't buy these. Guaranteed to short out your trailer wiring.

Brighter than the old bulb style I had. (Thanks other reviews) I've submerge while powered several times without failure.

I replaced the broken ones on my trailer and they worked just like a side marker should. At night you can see them better than in the bright sun light.

Waterproof with single +ve 12V wire. -ve is provided through the single chassis bolt.

Installed easily and they work well.
