“Modeling rubber mask…” is a bit of a misnomer. This bulk powder mix takes a little ‘work’ to get it to the right consistency (the product instructions make it too thick for spreading)… and applies more like a clay/mud mask. It also takes considerably longer to dry than other similar masks. However, the moisturizing/skin calming effects are undeniable. I have relatively picky skin that also enjoys being oily and dry at the same time… I have not had any issues with this mask… and have actually had some stabilizing effects from this mask (i.e. skin is less oily and more consistently moisturized.)The cost was a bit pricey at first, but realizing just how much you receive… and the fact that you make a fresh batch each time you use it… this is actually quite a nice price. This will last for quite some time for a single person… All in all, pretty happy with this facial treatment.

I ordered this expecting it to be a rubber-like facial mask that peels off in a single sheet (more or less), but it isn't. It's a great treatment and my skin loves it, BUT it dries down like a clay mask and removal is a process. When mixed it's a pale yellow, not gold, and has a definite jelly like texture. It's easy to apply with a brush or spatula. As it's drying my skin feels very cool and the mask feels tight on my face, like I'm using a clay mask. If I move my face to much it cracks and the texture when dry is very hard. I do like it, but honestly, I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known it wasn't a jelly mask.

This stuff is similar to the ones they used on me at facial. It gives my skin a cooling feeling when I put it on then I can visibly see how it made my skin looks soft and hydrated. I suppose I don’t need to lots of money to get facial anymore, I can just use this powder to give myself fancy facial at home. The powder comes in two very big bags, you only need to use 4 spoons for each treatment. The instruction said to use a 4:3 ratio of power:water but I found that it still came out a bit too thick to spread so I added a bit more water to it. You can spread it all over your face, including the eyes and mouth. It takes 20-40 mins for it to completely dry off, you have to wait until it’s completely dried to remove it or it would be difficult to remove. You can wash your face with water to clean off the residue or leave it as is if there is no residue. This powder does wonder to your skin and I’m glad to have found it at such good value.
