We had too many computer cables lying around and needed somewhere to store.Product worked as intended, only dislike and everyone should know is that the material is quite flimsy. It's basically paper, so if you have a dog just be careful as it will easily be ripped.If it will be away from pets or kids It will be good

Just received these. You get what you pay for, sort of. I looked at a variety of these kinds of foot stools. This seemed like a good price. Overall, it is fairly sturdy. But I would not use it for anything other than a place to rest your feet. Wood used both in lid and at bottom of stool is only 3/8” to 1/2” thick at best. Likewise, I would not store anything of any weight inside. It is nicely lined, and lid seems fairly sturdy. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit “tippy” with only three feet. Packing was very minimal; *very* thin styrofoam in a “Chinese” box (i.e., that cheap, thin cardboard unlike what we generally use in the U.S.). You hope it doesn’t get hit somewhere in shipping. Feet are not that great. Not well stained/painted...and they must have been painted just before packing, because the pieces of the styrofoam packing are stuck to bottom of the feet. I will be lightly sanding them, maybe even re-paint them. Does look nice. The rush grass seems fine, though the lining to the inside (stapled in) is a bit visible on the outside of the stool, at the very top through the rush grass. Not something you immediately notice, tho. I bought two (2)...no noticeable color difference in them.

Needs a cushion on top, can tip if your feet on in the center

This is a wonderful food rest with storage capacity~ it is well built, nicely lined with fabric, has three sturdy hooves, and it the lid fits perfectly. This is perfect for our nautical great room.Highly recommend.

The texture is kind of weird, feels like paper when you touch, but looks like bamboo. I would not dare to place anything wet on it, probably will last for a while but not the greatest quality. It's very lightweight and the space inside is nice to fit a few small blankets.

I give these a four stars because really they look very pretty and have great storage, only thing I don’t like it the quality, it almost feels like thin plastic and the top part isn’t exactly flushed but you would have to live with it to really notice, great storage, I bought two, one has a giant throw blanket and the other has like four kid blankets, the are very appealing, just afraid they might not last as long as I’d like, I did have to tuck some little braids in myself, overall, pleased and appealing

If you have kids or pets do not waste your money on this. I should have read more about the material, I was expecting more of a sturdy wicker-like material - this is literally made of paper - actual paper...not even thick paper bag material, it is somewhere between tissue paper and printer paper in weight. In my household it was quickly destroyed since its purpose was holding toys in the main living space. Between my kids and my dog it went downhill quickly. These picture are 4 months after purchasing, and I already tried staple gunning down the paper parts that had begun unraveling and ripping - to no avail. I will need to replace with something much more sturdy. Pretty frustrating at this price point for it to fall apart so quickly. If you live in a home with no kids or pets, this might be a great purchase - its functional for storage and aesthetically pleasing if unharmed. But I do not recommend to anyone with children since it’s made of braided tissue paper.
