Fantastic watch! Don't be intimidated by the functionality
The last Pro Trek I owned was the 1996 PRT-40. I loved that watch and wore it hiking, swimming, and all around town. My wife gave me the blue PRG-600YB-2CR for our wedding anniversary. I love it! The blue stainless steel bezel looks great -- especially in the sun.The first thing I did was to put my smartwatch in a drawer. I was tired of monitoring my internal conditions and was ready to reengage with the outside world and start monitoring external conditions. This Casio is perfect! The manual is thick and the text tiny. But with my reading glasses, it was possible to consume all there is to learn about this timepiece's operations. Don't be intimated by the voluminous text. Within a couple of days, I had mastered the controls. The only reading I needed to manually adjust was the temperature. It was showing about 10 degrees F too hot. I did that with guidance from two external thermometers: one digital and the other is an old-school dial device. There is a short section recalibrating the temperature and it took me about a minute. This watch has a large face but is light and very comfortable to wear. I wear it swimming, hiking and all about town. Two thumbs up for the PRG-600YB-2CR!

Beautiful watch
Obviously if you’re reading here you probably already know all of the features this Watch has so I won’t get into that! But this Watch is gorgeous! Honestly it looks better than I expected! I wanted to put some pictures of it up because there weren’t any pictures from buyers in the reviews of the blue one. All I can say is the bezel is absolutely beautiful! The other thing is this Watch is way lighter and more comfortable than I expected, I have two Timex expedition’s, and this watch surprisingly feels lighter and less bulky than both of them, despite the fact that it’s significantly bigger. Hopefully it holds up as good as it looksOne month update! This watch has been amazing so far, there is a little bit of a learning curve setting it up, but it’s not too bad. The barometer is crazy accurate! I’m actually surprised how accurate it is! This morning I looked out the window and it was over cast, my barometer alarm started going off, I walked out the door 15 minutes later and it was raining. It’s on point every time! It also keeps perfect time with my phone, when my phone turns to the next hour I hear the hourly chime go off simultaneously. I could go on and on about how great and functional this watch is, but I don’t feel like writing an essay lol! Honestly I have no complaints so far and I’m am totally satisfied! I don’t even miss my Apple Watch! Just buy it you’ll thank me later!

Great watch at a great price.
This watch is a little daunting at first. The instructions are written in Tiny-ese, and are hard to read. I went on Youtube and watched videos about the watch for everything I needed. I've only had it for a few days, but I can see that it meets or exceeds all my expectations.

Great watch, good price
I have spent the last two years looking for a watch to replace my 30-yr old workhorse Seiko dive watch. New Seikos run ~$400 which is affordable, but I wasn't sure I needed another dive watch. I ogled Rolex, Tudor, and some other aspirational brands, but I'm not really in that tax-bracket. I still dive, but use a computer instead of a watch (yes, I know, the watch is a highly reliable backup to finicky electronics, but it hasn't been an issue). My main criteria were 1) analog dial because the small digits on most electronic watches are too small for my aging eyes to discern easily; 2) Countdown timer for use in various situations (sailboat racing, cooking, etc.); 3) World time for synching with my daughter in Europe. I did not want anything that required connecting via bluetooth or that recorded personal information like most smart-watches. This watch has everything I want, and nothing I didn't, including both an analog dial, and a small digital window for accessory information. I also has ABC - altitude, barometric pressure, and compass - all of which are fun and entertaining, but not critical. It is fun to wear and use, and has a bunch of innovative features, such as the fact that the hands move out of the way when using the accessory screen. My only criticisms are that it is a BIG watch (50 mm including the crown), and the plethora of buttons is a bit daunting to learn. But it was a good choice, and meets all my needs. Highly recommended.

It has become my go to watch. Has everything I need plus. Love the looks mine has a blue bezel, purchased a matching blue watch band. Legible at a glance good loom all night long plus a lighted background with the push of a button.

Sharp Looking
Watch lives up to visual expectations. I have the military green version and black resin versions also. These watches need sunlight. If you don’t wear every day make sure they get sunlight regularly.
