It's a great size and you can move it how you want it, the smaller mirror inside also. Only thing was that there is a mark or scratch on the mirror that I wasn't able to remove. It bothers a bit.

I recently had cataracts removed and in the process my near vision was diminished. I could not see to tweeze my eyebrows or get an eyelash out of my eye. This mirror has 5x and 8x magnification. I use the 8x for everything. I have three homes and bought a mirror for each place. This mirror saved me! I use it in a sitting position at two homes and twist it up to use in a standing position at our vacation home. The only thing that would make it better is illumination.

I bought this for my wife after seeing it in a cosmetics store in the mall. Great looking, nice heavy base so you won't knock it over, and both the regular mirror and the magnifying mirrors are big enough to really see what you're doing. My wife liked it so much I looked it up on Amazon and got another for the guest bathroom. Much less expensive on Amazon. My daughter-in-law loved it when she came to visit, so now I've purchased three of these and they're worth every dime.

This is my Favorite mirror...every woman who sees it in my bathroom wants one... and many have bought their own. The mirror swivels so the magnification can be at the top or bottom. The 8x's is wonderful for putting on eye make up. This is the quality you find in department store make up counters. It is pricey but face, it you're worth it!!!!!
