Non-adjustable carburetor
No adjustments can be made. 1 needle position, air mixture screw is plugged, float bowl glued shut. No adjustments can be made. Strictly for oem replacement.

No fuel air mixture screw
No air fuel mixture screw. Something that doesn't allow for any adjustment. Also if you don't have a spanner screwdriver, you'll need one to access the float bowl. Not common hardware in the US so heads up if you see something strange there easy replacement but should be in a picture or description of this item.Update: Customer service confirmed this was an old listing and the current part they carry isn't adjustable for fuel/air. They are updating the posting and providing a refund

Great little carb
I bought this TK (Teikei) carburetor to replace the unit on my 20 year old Chinese Sundiro scooter that was built with a Jog clone engine. I picked this carb because the TK is the Yamaha Zuma OEM product. Out of the box it had the TK markings as pictured in the photo showing it installed on my bike. It was easy to install with no modifications of any kind. The carb adjusting screw had a blue mark from the factory. I attempted to adjust the carb but found it ran best exactly where it was marked from the factory. I turned the screw back to the position it came to me and was done. It's been on a few weeks now. The scooter starts as soon as you hit the switch. No leaks of oil or gas. It's never run this good. I would highly recommend this TK carb to anyone needing to replace or upgrade theirs.

If I hold a piece of tape over half the intake the engine runs good but without a choke is a struggle
My Yamaha cv80 does"t have an electric choke. The difference in size from the carb intake to the smaller fit to the manifold resulted in the scooter would not run. If I hold a piece of tape over half the intake the engine runs good but without a choke is a struggle .The does not work well on the 2 cycle 1980s models .Ray French
