A few years ago I got a pair of Bridgedale hiking socks. They were excellent quality and comfortable but I always felt they were just a little thick and warm for my needs. When I saw this lightweight version I decided to give them a try. After wearing them quite a few times I’m very happy with them. As a lighter weight sock, they are cooler and better for use in summertime. They still have a good absorption at the bottoms for long walks and hikes. The lighter weight seems to be from slightly less thickness above the ankle. At first I was a bit wary in case this became a weakness and an area where they could rip. I’m happy to say after much use, my concerns have gone away. These are great socks and recommended if you love hiking or just walking the dog. They are expensive but worth the extra cost. Im planning to buy a few more pairs. 😀 👍

My husband loves these socks for walking. They are softish, firm and hard wearing. They have pressure points at the right places and hold the foot in place inside the boot. They don’t rub or cause blisters and wash well.They are more expensive than conventional socks but worth the money and the Amazon delivery is good.

I know I always argue the cost of sock also! But as the saying goes buy cheap buy twice; these really are a great pair of mid season walking socks and not going to break the bank. So lightweight and enough cushioning to get you through the average 10 mile hike.

Apart the amount of fluff they continue to make after many washings, these are brilliant socks. I just wish they were produced in more colours. Please pass that on to Bridgedale

These socks are absolutely brilliant. Perfect fit and last for ages. Very comfortable for anyone that wants comfy fit but not tight on legs
