Sturdy, works perfectly for us!
Clean look, stable, sturdy. Holds 3 shower curtains around our claw type tub. Got beautiful high quality curtains here for an amazingly low price! $14 each for 2 layer, washable fabric with chrome roller ball style rings.

Sturdy rod.
Bought to put over my claw foot tub! Easy to install, don’t know about the durability, it’s only been up a month.

Hardware malfunctions, but half the price of others
Hardware is cheap and broke upon installation. Does not come with ceiling mount hardware compatible with drywall (had to purchase separately)

a good bit of work to install
The product it self is fine, but it is designed to be adjustable and that means cutting the rods and a good bit of measuring, etc. Also it is not an easy install by yourself.

Not Typical Brushed Nickel, Difficult to Install
I got what I paid for when it comes to that low of a price. The finish is NOT brushed nickel. It took us a very long time to install and we ended up having to do modifications to it for it to work correctly with our tub location. Thankfully my husband is a contractor otherwise I really doubt I would have been able to get it installed and sufficiently anchored. The anchors with the unit are a joke - figure on buying replacements. All in all you simply get what you pay for. There is a reason the pretty and perfect ones are $300+ each.

Flimsy, difficult to install
I'm an accomplished DIYer/Homeowner with basic plumbing, painting, electrical and carpentry skills and I'll tackle most projects on my own rather than bring in professionals who might have more knowledge and skill, but don't really give a sh*t. This shower curtain ring has a few things going for it that made me give it a try: More support than other brands and I like that it is made from aluminum (my previous chromed steel ring got pretty corroded and rusty quickly). The instructions tell you to install the front facing double bracket adn then get someone to "hold" this part in place while you install the rest of the unit. It took a good 2 hours to do that second part, so getting a helper to really was not an option. I happen to have a lot of motion picture equipment because of my job, and was able to rig a lighting stand to hold the hoop in place while I finished the installation. I don't know how it could have been done otherwise. The finished project looks pretty good, but after about a month of regular use one side has loosened to the point where it sags. I can probably take it apart and tighten things up, but I would have rather paid more money for a unit that didn't need tweaking and adjustment.

Worked, but....
Arrived quickly but we had to modify it to install. The arm to the ceiling was adjustable, but the arms to the wall were way to short and we had a very hard time finding a fix. The description was correct so we knew the length of the arms before ordering but we had no idea how hard it would be to figure out how to modify. In the end it worked out and is very sturdy. Would have given 5 stars if the arms to the wall were adjustable like the one to the ceiling. If you purchase this and need to extend the arms we figured out that a standard shower curtain rod is the same circumference, once we figured this out it was very easy to fix. Overall I'm happy with the outcome.

It works!
The only complaint I would have is it is a little flimsy. Otherwise it does the god.

Helped improve my shower
I have purchased this twice now, but had to return the second one. I moved into a home with two clawfoot tubs, and one of them had a horrible bar that was too short for the tub and so the curtains always blew in leaving no room to shower and water was everywhere...I bought one of these and it has definitely helped, but read the instructions well as the cuts are very important to do properly. You definitely need two people after a certain point. I liked the first one so i bought a second.Unfortunately, this isnt incredible quality so the second one had to be returned. I decided to first connect the last pieces (that needs to be tightened with an allen key once you get the right length), but when i went to adjust the length from the ceiling to the bar, the little bit was completely stripped by the allen key because it was such horrible quality. This left me unable to adjust the space between the ceiling to the bar. Definitely have someone helping to level the bar before tightening the end piece with the allen key, because the allen key will quickly strip it down so that it cant be tightened or taken out. Was incredibly frustrating so i returned it. This thing takes a lot of precision and time because things like that last part cant really be adjusted.

Shower ring
Looks good, not the most heavy duty, but works as promised, thought it might be a little heavier built but once installed it's not noticable and it's strong enough for the shower curtain

Lightweight aluminum, consider upgrading some of the screws
I modified this to use with a conventional “alcove” tub. This meant shortening the lengths of sides so that it would fit in a 60” alcove. I upgraded the screws that join the hoop assembly, a little bigger, and threaded the aluminum, also used lock tite blue on any machine threads. Some reviews say it’s flimsy, yes you can’t swing from it. If carefully assembled and installed on studs or tight fitting anchors it’s ok. Can be installed by 1 person, by nice to have help though.
