OK mostly but not as reliable as I'd like
I've been running my Shelly H&T for many months now. I'd hoped I'd found my perfect self-contained wi-fi enabled sensor. I had to configure it to communicate with a Mosquitto broker in order to get the frequency of reports that I wanted. It works great, until it doesn't. My broker is 100% reliable but the Shelly H&T sensor isn't. My wi-fi coverage in it's location is 100% reliable but the Shelly H&T isn't.I love it when it's working but I just can't rely on it. I also purchased the USB power adaptor to see if it worked better like that than when running on battery. The USB adaptor makes it more unreliable not less, who knows!

Fiddly to setup - check batteries - but works
A little bit fiddly to setup, but seems to work once configured. One tip is that it may be more difficult to setup if the batteries aren't good. For example I have new Duracell batteries that started with "70% full". I bought some other high rated C123 batteries off Amazon and the device started up and worked first time.

Seems OK so far but not good value
Sometimes when you buy something you can see what spent your money on and sometimes you can't. This is one of those circumstances where you really can't see the value. the android app does not inspire confidence and takes many attempts to configure the device to work with your home WiFi. The Shelly integration with Home Assistant works fine but the device only seems to transmit its status at quite coarse intervals so it shouldn't be thought of as offering real time feedback. For the price it really should have included the USB power option which is apparently available.
