Tamper resistance makes them challenging
These are beautiful sockets. But be forewarned that they are “tamper resistant” and therefore have a locking mechanism that will give some people grief.We’ve learned the “tricks” to get US plugs to go in, but they’re confusing to our guests.

Color chips off
As others have mentioned, the tempered glass itself holds up. It doesn't break or crack.However, the coloring underneath chips off as you plug things into it. It happens right away, too. It will only look good initially.
