Fruit of the Loom Women's Plus Size "Fit For Me" 5 Pack Hi-Cut Panties Assorted

Although I love the way they fit and feel, they did not hold up in the wash. The first time I washed them, they came apart and some of the strings wrapped around my other laundry. (see photo). I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I do like the feel of the product, but I won't be buying them again if they can't be wash without falling apart.

I'm not sure what happened to the customers that left bad reviews. I first purchased these panties from Wal-Mart. I really liked the way they fit and the way they felt. Well there must be a thousand women the same size as me, because it took months to find any panties in my size. I am a big girl. I was so excited to find them on Amazon. I will be buying more now that I can find them in my size. They have not fallen apart or had any seams even appear loose. I have washed them at least 4 times and they are fine. Amazon has an excellent return/replace or refund policy and I am finally comfortable ordering online. Thanks Amazon, you are great!!!

I got my first package of these at Walmart and loved the fit and comfort. I specifically love the wide elastic waist band. Went to buy more but Walmart no longer carries them. Bummer! Then I found them here. Double the price, but worth it for what I want. Yay! Except when they arrived they had a narrow band just like any other package at Walmart, and double or more the price... AND, since I'm returning them, they are charging $3.33 for shipping (which they'll take out of my refund) and NO other shipping options... Not happy, not buying from this seller again.

This is going to sound weird, but these panties are for my husband. He wears them because they are microfiber and wick the sweat away from his man areas during warm weather and they are not excessively feminine. For example, the waistband is not floral or adorned with lace or anything like that which could be embarrassing. We've been buying packages of these panties in brief and hi-cut format for the past couple of years and there are three problems that keep arising. 1. Despite panties listed as being the same size, one pair in the package may be listed as being a say, Size 13, but it is more like a Size 12. It fits, but it is tighter compared to the other pairs in the package. This can happen with 1-2 pairs in each package. Sometimes you get lucky and all of them are perfect. 2. You cannot control the colors that come in the package. You are literally at the mercy of Amazon and Fruit of the Loom and what package they pull from their warehouse. The package could be filled with ultra feminine colors or it could be filled with everyday solids. It is a total roll of the dice as to what you will get. 3. Quality has improved on these panties drastically since we first started purchasing them a couple of years ago and people spoke of them falling apart after the first wash. We never had that happen, but we did have pairs that fell apart a bit prematurely or that has loose threads. A few pairs have gone to Goodwill that were too small and a few more have gone to the trash because they fell apart but amazingly most of these panties are still in use.Now, if you're looking for a pair of panties that is "sexy" this is not your package of panties. These are comfortable functional panties.Lastly, one great, great positive feature of these panties are the waist band that stays up because it is not adorned with lace so these hi-cut panties work well for very physical applications such as working out or doing physical labor for both men and women.

UPDATE 11/29/2015: SKIP THIS PURCHASE. All 5 pr. of these underwear have now come out of the washing machine in pieces, totally mangled and ruined. I think 2 pair survived beyond the 3rd washing and none beyond the 5th wash. Unless you have time to hand wash and lay flat to dry, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I don't have that kind of time in my life. If they can't go in the washer and dryer, I'm not interested._________________________ORIGINAL REVIEW:I am divided as to what to write in this review. I loved these Hi-cuts. They fit well, they don't ride up, the colors are nice and they are comfortable. This is saying a lot for a woman who wore the same brand and style of underwear for 20 yrs before FINALLY moving to these--but there is a HUGE problem with these underwear--2 problems actually--and other reviews have warned of both. First, the cotton panel in the bottom was obviously designed by someone who has never WORN this item. The cotton panel needs to be moved forward or lengthened 3-4 inches toward the front of the body. There are ways to work around that--ladies--you'll know what that means, but that brings me to the second item. The second problem takes these 5 star Hi-cuts down to 2 stars and that is being generous....they DO NOT HOLD UP IN THE WASH. The first time I washed them, 1 pair, the turquoise solid, came out of the waster (cold water, hand wash cycle, no agitator in my washer, very low spin, nothing but panties in the load that was washed) with blue thread all over the place and the waistband completely separated from the body of the panty. The next time I washed these items again, a black pair came out with 1/2 the waistband separated from the body of the panty. We are talking about the first and second time these panties were ever washed. If they are falling apart under these conditions, they will not last a month. THAT IS A HUGE QUALITY CONTROL PROBLEM. Even though I love the material and the fit, I cannot recommend them. Its a waste of your money until they do something about the washability of these Hi-Cuts. This is my second order of these panties, They fit well and are very comfortable. My only issue is that I ordered the pkg with black, navy blue, grey and white panties and received a pkg with completelly different colors. This is the very same problem as the first order. I do NOT undersand why I cannot get the correct color of panties that I am ordering!! I would give these 5 stars had it not been for the pkg containing the wrong color of panties AGAIN!

I bought these while heavily pregnant and while they were roomy enough to fit over my belly, I still wore them tucked under. I bought them plenty large enough to accommodate my growing tummy but I was surprised at how quickly these undies fell apart. I maybe wore each pair three-four times and the elastic starting separating from the fabric. Like I said, they were plenty roomy and quite loose so it's not like I stretched them to ruin. I'm actually surprised because FOTL is usually a pretty reliable brand.

Ok Ladies...these are the most comfortable panties ever. I have now ordered 4 packs and each pack had different colors. So soft and the colors are great. Delivery was fast. I gave 4 stars because i found that the odd pair ripped from the wasteband after wearing once but the others have been washed several times and kept the softness and shape very well.

Very light fabric, extensible and the crotch part is the right size. I bought so many panties with tiny crotch (narrow), they slide in the "you know what" and have to keep replacing them, which is not really pretty to look at and is embarassing. These have the right crotch sizing. You don't feel them on.

Sorry to say that the elastic started to pull away from the material of the panty when I washed it before the first wear. The material feels nice, and it is true to size, but the underwear is not durable at all. Only 2 of the five are still wearable, and that's barely. I'll be going back to Jockey for her. Disappointing.

Very nice, I am a big girl, and these fit me great. The fabric is quite thin, so I doubt these will last for years and years, but it's nice and silky, yet stretchy.

Nice cross between cotton and regular ole polyester. Very well made. Comfortable and slippery against pants//jeans.

Had to restitch the seams in 2 pair before wearing. Sewing not great but made by some poor person earning only pennies....
