Vocabulary in Context for the Common Core Standards: Reproducible Grade 4

This is a good resource. I use it for a vocabulary center. At first I was a little taken aback by how difficult the material was, but the rigor must be upped with common core! With some guidance, this is completely do-able by a 4th grader. My hope is that after a few times I will be able to release the responsibility to them.The best part of this book is that the words are used in context over and over again, and the words are also presented with more than one meaning. By the end of a unit, students really understand their words. I only wish it had more units. It has 10 units, which will probably last us about a third of the year. I wish it were a full year's work.

A little difficult for 4th graders in my class but able to work around a few pages. Love the variety.

Absolutely love this book. I have since purchased 3 other grade levels in this series. Each unit contains such great activities, touching upon vocabulary development, word roots, homonyms, dictionary skills, associations, creative writing, and prefix and suffix meanings. The text passages are appropriate and interesting to my students. Love!

5th grade book! Not 7th like the cover and binding says!

This series of books have helped and challenged my second language learners. I use they them to help prepare my students for they state mandated test.

I love these books for teaching.

This is for 7th grade; however it's the EXACT same book as the 5th grade version....word for word. I don't know if it was mistake or what. It just has a different cover. Now I'm figuring out if I can send it back.

I should have listen to all the other reviews. Do not get this one. It's a 5th grade book not 7th grade.

I have order the 7th grade vocabulary book three times, and all three times it had the content for the 5th grade vocabulary book.

It’s not the right product. The cover says 7, the contents are grade 5. Catfished.
