DK Workbooks: Math, Pre-K: Learn and Explore

This is a nice workbook and a great addition to my son's collection. He has a fixation with doing his workbooks, but I'm certainly not complaining. He's a smart kiddo, and if he wants to do a little extra work voluntarily, then who am I to stop him? The material in this book is on almost the right level for him, although some of the concepts he has far beyond mastered. I bought some kindergarten ones for him too though, which have similar but slightly more advanced content, so combining these is really great for him. Definitely recommend for preparing kids for school, supplementing their preschool, or giving them more educational activities to participate in.

I bought two of these for my daughters to supplement their "remote learning"! I feel that the content is perfect for the pre-K and even K ages! I have come back again and again for DK learning books! Compared to some of the books you can get at Walmart, these have richer, more age appropriate content!

A well made book with a lot of great concepts. However, I should have got my 3.5 year old the kindergarten level one. I have no other kids his age to compare him to and this is filled with stuff he already know. We have been working on addition and subtraction. I should have looked at the specific concepts it was covering before buying.

The media could not be loaded. I, the mother, give this book 3 stars but my 3 1/2 half year old gives it 5. He loves its.I bought this for homeschooling my preschooler. He loves doing hands on things and because of that his “writing skills” are nonexistent. This was to help get him a little better at tracing his numbers. A lot of reviewers complained about the paper, personally we had no problems. We just used a pen. My complaint comes from the lack of repetition in this book. They ask you to trace each number and word for the number one time and expect the child to have it memorized for later questions throughout the book. As a review/test of knowledge this books start would be perfect. To actually teach a child that 3 is spelt three not so much. We need to practice this way more then this book offers in the beginning. My son however loves this book. He wants to sit and do the whole thing and I have to bribe him to move on to other parts of the school day. He probably loves it because there is no repetition like some of his other school work but to truly mast how the write 3 and three there needs to be more then a one and go. The rest of the book however really is great. We’re more then half done at this point and it keeps my son engaged and ready for more.

I ordered it for my nephew to help him get started with school and he loves it and he’s doing great

My 3 year old can easily identify and count numbers 1-10 thanks to this book. She loved it!

Received a damaged book, but the seller immediately replaced the book. Great book and my 4 year old daughter is a few pages in and is following along nicely.

Omg I love these workbooks, I do 2 pages with my daughter everyday, she is almost done.

全47ページです。全部英文です。簡単な算数、形を選ぶ、数を数える、色、上－下、長い-短い、同じ－違う。などなど、簡単な数学や知育や基本的な英語が出てきます。色々なパターンの問題が次々出てきて、白黒ですが絵もかわいいので、楽しいようです！お教室の３～５才くらいの子供たちが楽しくやっています。(ただし、mathなのでアルファベットやフォニックスは出てこないので、それらの本との併用で使っています。)

J'ai découvert cette collection il n'y a pas très longtemps et moi qui suis adepte de la pédagogie Montessori je trouve qu'elle est très proche. Je suis francophone, mais l'anglais ne pose pas de problème car les consignes sont très simples et explicites.Pour ne rien gâcher, les enfants adorent les étoiles dorées à coller une fois qu'ils ont réussi leur activité.

My kid is recently interested in numbers so i bought it to practice. The book is good although I would expect more review and practice opportunities. I feel it might be a bit easy for my 5yo. Book is otherwise good and as advertised.
