the artwork is really indepth and incredile. I would give the art work 5 stars. the story line is really weak and under developed i give the story line 3 stara. i am unsure if the children i purchased these books will enjoy them, ill update later. maybe i am too much of a critic for childrens books

I bought this book for my nephew, as he loves animals. Actually I bought two, one for the babysitter to read to him and one for home. He loves the book! It has a very unique story and great illustration!

This book was a for a younger reader than the review said. Nicely done and enjoyable a quick read, nice.

This book has become wonderful bedtime reading in my family. The illustrations are beautiful and my son loves the story! He told me he wants to learn how to speak Arapaho now. And cougar...

I am from Colorado and my mom wanted to give this to my cousins kids after they came to visit us. I read the book before hand and I feel like it was poorly written and could have had more detail and story to it, at least have more information about Colorado. Maybe for a little kid it would be a great story, but for me, being 20 I was a little disappointed. You can read through it in just a few minutes. Not the kind of children book I had when I grew up.

Reading this with my 4-yr-old grandson has been delightful!

Gave to our nephew so he would start becoming aware of the places that his relatives live.

I was expecting this to be more of a night time book. It's a very indepth story that is too long for bedtime and the illustrations can be taken as scary for young children!
