Very nice trousers, good quality and well sized.
Very good quality trousers, the materials on the thicker/heavier side but they're comfortable and feel like they'd last well. They're loose fit and the zips at the bottom mean you can wear them to suit youThe colours slightly darker than the picture, but they look good. The size was as expected and overall they're good value for money and I'm glad I bought them.

Excellent hard-wearing trousers
These are rugged and well-contoured trousers. I have so far bought 3 pairs, 2 of which were size 38 (which although I can wear them, they were a bit too large) and one a 36 waist which fits perfectly, and neatly around the legs (I am normally a 38 waist). They have a small amount of elastic subtly positioned in the waist which enables them to stretch quite a bit. No-one else would know this elastic was there. It was this that led me to try the smaller size. The colours may vary from what is described, as the first pair were supposed to be a mid-grey, but came out more charcoal or graphite black, still great. The logos also vary as the size 36 waist came with a bright white and yellow logo that is less attractive, too obvious, whilst the first two pairs had very understated logos which were virtually the same colour as the trousers, but raised by a few millimetres. I still highly recommend these trousers, especially if you are between sizes. I would say to try the size below your normal one first. Be aware that there are a lot of zips, which increases the weight. Around the ankles, there are vertical zips to the outside edges which can open, which can be handy if you are wearing wide-topped boots), but these zips, when done up, can be awkward to know how to wear them at the bottom of the leg. The trousers can be tucked in, of course, but you should also be aware that the footwear you choose really matters, for example, they work best with boots or some kind.

Good set fir mild weather conditions
They come with two side elastic bands which can stretch for weight gain in waist but do not make them tight.. over all fit is really good as I hate lose fit and in seat and legs for medium builds there is room without being lose which I like .. material is heavy enough for temperate weather and prob ok for summer upto 25 degrees at least … I can go with 40£ as they fit well and good job of stitching and weight of material and will last .. I have not seen any choice of leg length and I did see a complaint of pockets material rubbingBut I will be taking them to the tailor for leg length and moving zip bottoms up and pocket replacement as they are quality enough to invest in and do a cple pairs in one go .. I have found this type of product difficult to source as I am extremely FUSSY and I have found these and I am very happy so changing leg length is no big deal….5/9 I think is ideal size for leg length at 34 inch waist as 3 inch is what I will be getting tailored

Sizing
I ordered a 34" waist as I nornally do and the waist is fine. Length was pretty good..probably a 33" as I nornally take 34 and these were a touch short but just about Ok.The downer is that they are listed as loose fitting and they are anything but loose. I have 65cm thighs and these are just not loose at all. Very frustrating trying to find any trousers that are actually loose. These fail here. Third pair or dofferent brands trying to find a nice fit.If you squat or are even a little athletic or simply have anything other than skinny boy legs then this will not be loose.Material seemed good though and waist elastic section was nice and comfy.Manufacturers: Not. Everybody. Wants. Skinny. Trousers.Men still exist. Yes we may be grumpy, hairy and fussy but we're still looking for trousers you can move in without cutting off blood supply or tempting castration by crotch fabric ffs.

Good sturdy trousers
I bought the first pair at the beginning of 2020. They were light grey, the material is quite thick cotton - great as other brands have been wearing out at the knees for me within a year. Probably a bit too heavy for hiking or getting wet (each pair is 700g in weight), they take a long time to dry out. Great for winter work trousers, a bit sweaty in the summer when over 30C outside. There were a few loose threads but so far only one has come undone (on the outer square pocket - an easy fix). Zips all good. 100% cotton. The badges easily removed with scissors leaving no trace. Happy with them so I ordered another pair that have arrived today. The new pair are a much darker shade (see photo) even though I ordered the same colour (grey). The stitching is much better, no loose threads at all. They are less baggy around the legs and much shorter which is good for me. The new pair are 97% cotton and 3% spandex, they have elasticated sections each side of the waist so possibly in response to people who complained they were a bit tight. Both pairs were correctly sized around the waist although the old pair has stretched an inch after several washes.Waist size 30 inches. Inside leg is 31.5 inches for the old ones and 29.5 for the new ones so a bit of a lucky dip.I'm happy with both pairs, harder wearing than anything I can find in the stores, I've been wearing the old pair most days for 10 months and they have a lot of life left in them.
