Well worth the money
I got this for my 3 year old for his birthday and allllll the cousins LOVED it! The kids were from 2 to 9 and all having so much fun playing with the foam rockets. I did order an extra 6 rockets since I knew we would lose some right away, and I'm glad we did. The set and the extra rockets lasted all 8 cousins about a week of continuous play over Christmas and they never got old. Of course the rockets were worse for the wear, but what do you expect out of these little things? The push launcher held up great and I plan to just keep a little stock of the foam rockets around. The great thing is that the force is enough to get these things flying but not enough to make them hurt if they get misdirected and hit another person. This is well worth the money to have a nice cheap toy that's fun for a wide range of ages and a single kid or a group of them. Highly recommended.

Great $5 gift. Simple, no batteries required fun for kids. Even little kids can do it.
Great, inexpensive toy. For $5, can't go wrong. I got this for my 8 year old and he had fun with it. My 2 year old can even do it. My only criticism is that the fins on the rockets come off WAY too easily. But, at this price, what do you expect. Even without the fins, they still fly, so the kids don't care at all. Also look at Stomp Rocket, another great inexpensive toy that doesn't take batteries. I think I even saw this in the toy section at my local super market.

and was instantly fun, hand held rocket
Worked, and was instantly fun, hand held rocket. After a few uses, the tip of all the darts fell off. After got them with super glue, put them back together, and worked again.

Great disposable toy--Excellent party game!
I bought these to use as a party game (whose rocket goes the farthest) at a space-themed 3rd birthday party. They were great! One arrived with the package smashed so that one will be returned, but the other pack was fine. I just had the kids (ages 2, 3, 9, and 12)take turns standing on a mark and shooting the rocket off. Whoever's landed the farthest away, won. It worked! All the kids, even the 2-year-old, were able to operate the rocket, and even the 12-year-old had a lot of fun with it! Though the kids were unevenly matched, since the more force you use the farther the rocket goes. But they all had fun with it! And it worked easily as an indoor game. The rockets are rather flimsy, but they lasted through three rounds of the game and beyond. The little wings easily come off, so my 3-year-old son proceeded to peel all of the wings off all the rockets once the game was done. They still shoot off the launcher, but now they sort of flip through the air rather than fly. I would consider this a disposable toy, though you could go through the trouble of gluing the wings back on and make it last a lot longer. The launcher thing is plenty sturdy enough for long-term use. It's definitely a choking hazard since the rockets are foam, but it worked well for use with all our age ranges. Quite happy with it.

Poorly made
The 4 of the tips were unglued upon arrival. Very poorly made.

Old fashion fun
I have given this toy to all of my grandchildren ages 2 to 13. It is safe, inexpensive and performs much better than expected. The launcher is surprisingly sturdy and has lasted through several reorders of rockets. The rockets hold together quite well but the pets love to chew on them! Also, extra rockets means more opportunities to launch at one another. The two year old is entertained for long periods of time and can operate on his own although his aim isn't very good. Safe, fun, sturdy, and cheap, what more can you ask for?

Great to have extra rockets for active kids.
Bought two slap rockets for our 3 year old grandson to use at the park. They are easy to load, fun to use and are lightweight and safe. After reading the reviews it seemed prudent to go supplied with some extra rockets. The first day of heavy use resulted in only one rocket malfunction and that can be easily repaired with some glue. Do you have to have extras? No, but it sure is nice to have them on hand for uninterrupted play. Kids get attached to one color so the variety is a great option.
