Aero Pure ABF80 L6 W ABF80L6 Ceiling Mount 80 CFM w/LED Light/Nightlight, Energy Star Certified, White Quiet Bathroom Ventilation Fan

The Aero Pure fan is quiet (it's what you're paying for) and the light is a descent 3000°K, not too bright.I think for a retrofit situation, this fan was better than most.I have 24" OC rafters, so to secure the mounting frame I had to manipulate my head and arm to fit through a 10" square hole to sink the tiny screws in the next beam over (2' away). Not pleasant, but i managed.If you have shorter beams spacing or attic access, you will have a much easier time.The rest of the process is pretty straight forward, but the alignment of the detachable exhaust flanged and the fan box has to be pretty spot on or you will have a rough time getting the box to slide up into the hole. Mine refuses to push up flush with the drywall and the trim plate is not tall/thick enough to cover the 1/8" gap there. Not a huge thing, but again, not perfect.On a sad note, my unit came lacking one of the 3 metal screw to hold the box in place at the end, AND one of the plastic clips that hold the light/trim plate in place had broken off in transit (somehow?) so the trim will not hold in place. I have ordered a replacement clip to replace the broken one.

difficult to install wiring hook up. Made for small hands. Would be amazing if people that design these things would try real world installs first before producing a fixture like this. positives- light is bright, fan is quiet. Negitives- hard to hook up wires because of design, have to have vent pipe exhaust cover loosely on before pushing in ceiling, led light cover does not fit as snug as it should. It can be wired with seperate switches to control light and fan and night light. Would be better if control would operate the three functions from one switch such as used in some led recess light/night light bulbs. Reviewed by a licensed master electrician 40yrs
