We bought two new cast iron skillets and realized quickly that grabbing a dish towel to pick up the pan wasn't the most efficient (or safe). These do the job. They're longer than we need, but it doesn't make a difference to us and I'm sure some people would need the full length. They wash up fine... I just tossed them into the washing machine like I would a pot holder. I like that they came in black - many other amazon listings came in cute, light colored patterns... but it's a skillet so I really don't want pretty lattice patterns that will look nasty in a few days.

Purchased these for our cast iron skillets. They work great and have their own place in the kitchen so we always know where they are. Will purchase again.

I like pot holder but I wish it had a hook for hanging

These still get very hot while on the pan handle. Buyer beware

So glad I purchased these for my cast iron skillets. They stay on great, keep the heat off my hands, wash beautifully, well made.

I needed some heavy duty potholders for my cast iron pans, and these did the trick. I don't feel any heat through them.
