Perfect fit, great quality, size 6 for 5’5” 140lbs 34/29/40. Is more purple vs burgundy. The starburst detail is beautiful & flattering.

I needed a dress for a wedding. This was the PERFECT little black dress, it is classic and could be worn to the office or out for cocktails after (maybe an accessory change or cardigan/blazer change). However, the wedding I was attending was a 4pm wedding and was a mite more on the relaxed/casual side, so black didn't seem like the best color choice. I was disappointed I couldn't find an embroidered white cardigan (like a pattern of birds across the shoulder or something sort of whimsical) to 'lighten' the feel of a solid black dress, otherwise I would have certainly kept this lovely dress.I rated it as a little wide in the waist because I am 34DD/26/35 and most things these days are made for less hourglass/more straight or athletic figures.

As usual with C. Klein dresses, this one did not disappoint. It's fitting, and figure "fixing" in all the right places. I always feel better about my body/shape in them. I prefer the ones without a zipper, but there's enough stretch to be fitting without breaking at the seams. The material is thick and drapes well.It fits true to size. I'm tall (5'11"), and it's very appropriate for church/conservative events.

Pros: Flattering, fit nice at my waist.Cons: Poor quality. The hem was unraveled after wearing the dress once! And I wasn't exactly moving around a lot, but standing in place for hours.. The upper back of the dress was way too loose by my neck, if it wasn't for my log hair, it would have been hard to hide! The dress fit fine else where but there seemed to be way too much extra fabric.Overall, I am horrified that the hem came off and completely fell down just wearing the dress once. For the price, and the brand, I expected more. I plan to return this dress, unless it can be properly fixed.

I ordered this dress after trying multiple dresses, the leafy sleeves hide my chunky arms, the cut made my waist look smaller and the fabric in general favors your body. I’m an apple shape, find the right dress is hard, however I recommend to wear it with an spandex inside, it just flatten any extra love muffin. I wore this dress for an award ceremony, got compliments everywhere!

I am 5' 3" and weigh 140. The size 12 fits in chest, hips, etc., but it was, at mid knee, longer than I wanted. I took it to a tailor for shortening and also had a dart put in at front of each harm hole to eliminate slight gaping. Now it fits perfectly. and is a high quality dress suitable for dressy occasions.

This is not the same quality of material you’d find in Macy’s or real Calvin Klein. I was very disappointed with how it fit and especially with the material.
